@Timdanielpathfinder Not that I'm questioning you at all here mate, but have you seen that Peter Green doc, Man Of The World? There's a scene where the interviewer and Peter listen to Fleetwood Mac tracks, and he's asked who plays slide...Peter says he did it himself, on a Strat laying across his lap, with a cigarette lighter. It'd be a cruel thing to say that maybe someone with peter's history has maybe gotten muddled up, but who knows? I know at certain points...
@burnsybaby1987 ive seen the doc, man of the world. the scene you are speaking of is a scene where peter green is discussing one song in particular., "albatross." peter is explaining that the bass was doubled with himself and mcvie and the slide is doubled with himself and kirwin. green is accurate in this interview.
To all of you Jeremy Spencer haters: He, Peter and Danny all were bad-acid & music industry/recording/touring-pressure casualties. Danny ended up homeless at one time; and yes, Jeremy joined the Children of God cult for a while in Los Angeles.. Peter had his own problems as well! Jeremy was a fine slide player, vocalist and percussionist when called upon to play maracas, tambourine, etc...Peter Green and Fleetwood Mac at the top of their game... Dig it Baby! Luv, BluzKat
The Danny Kirwan/Peter Green guitar team was great. Peter played with such finesse and Danny with such passion. Both had great tone and a great sense of melody and musicianship. Interesting to see Danny doing all the guitaring on this, one of Green's tracks. He really 'played' the guitar, literally wrenching the notes out. Too bad they didn't do the complete song here, but this is still a great clip.
I saw them do this song in Seattle.
Peter was wearing that shirt-jacket.
But that was 1970.

@burnsybaby1987 Jeremy Spencer played absolutely nothing on a session, as Green and Kirwan were working on some guitar interplay.
