  • its good. actually. i enjoyed watching it

  • that was a sweet move at the end where u though ur drum stick up but neil peart is the best drummer in the world

  • long way to go to be the best better than me but i now some people that can play better than u but still nice and creative

  • lol - Best Drummer in the world? I take it you have never heard

    Virgil Donati?

  • he is ok but he is not the best

  • Rather listen to this dude all day than 10 seconds of Neil Peido.

  • He could be professional, god why isn't he in a band???? He would destroy most other drummers. And the amazing part is how little he has to work with! It's in resemblance to buddy rich, who has a modest sized set compared to Neil Peart and the modern day drum gods. Amazing, absolutely, but even with his skill i wouldn't say he's the best.

  • mabey you will play even better if you take that dolphins shirt off

  • No where near the best..but hes still got skills.

  • I have done the +1OO on this one, I am proud

  • it is creative, but lacks a genuineness. Its hard and forced, not near the best in the world, and hardly technical. Ways to go to show his chops, but he is good

  • You don't need to be technical to be the best drummer in the world. Just like you don't need to be good with your theory to be the best guitarist. Look at Hendrix and page and frampton and townshend, they knew how to play even though their stuff wasn't always perfectly technical. far better than any of the guitarists today. but ya...he's not the best but he's good.

  • Very cool!! Like the timing.

  • it was good but u got a ways to go

  • Nice one but if you'd really work your ass of for one year and practice all the time you'll get the same result .

  • lol that's awesome ahah.

  • woowoww that was a craazy solo man :D really nice, you got skillz...

  • very nice, especially since its all in traditional O.o, buuut not exactly worlds best lol

  • if he can beat me in a contest then he can be called a great drummer

  • creative....but not the best.

  • no where near the WORD "best in the world", not the REAL best of the world....BUT, that was very good...

  • well done! some great licks in there!

  • Definitley not the best but very the stuff he played was really cool

  • dolphins rule!!

  • jajajajaa excelent job man, very nice ending, originality and humor at the end that was a avery very performance

  • He's really good, but I think Neil Peart is still the best.

  • dude check out derek roddy

    be amazed

    fastest double bass pedaler EVER

  • loooooong way to go till th best drummer. you still got some tallent though

  • 101 thumbs up!man, thats a record!

  • very creative and different, way to go!

  • i ghess he likes rims

  • no way, the best drummer in the world is definitely a Bears fan. :)

    Nice video.

  • jajaja.... awesome.

  • lol nice

  • hes good. better than i am. but not the best. but rly fast. good work

  • very nice, you should also check out Martin Maurais, youll be shocked

  • same drum set as me! identical

  • what is tama set?

  • set is tama superstar?

  • that crossover at the end was the shit! Im gonna try that one....

  • Haha. I love the description.

  • get out of KFC dawg! Lol, great job, better than me and im sure many others, but not the best, u have potential

  • LOL BOOO MIAMI! But go drumming that was sick dude

  • lol with the mirrior it looks like he has a 360 drum set just like neil peart

  • haha that was awesome. especially the end.

  • your good no doubt about it but you a long long way to go before you become the best

  • nice man nice! i really like how you dont have 12 toms 3 basses and 20 toms!

  • would think that one of the worlds best drummers would tune the drums that they dont sound like congas..But hes pretty damn fast I give that to him

  • some really fast triplets there nice man

  • change the tile from best to damn good. i really dig it man. great job.

  • Not the best in the world but very good indeed...what I liked the best is that it's in the style of classic jazz.

  • love the stick flip!

  • Neil Peart Is The Best Drummer I Say

  • Nice work. It looks like all Buddy Rich stuff which is cool. Buddy was one of the best ever.

  • wut r u talking about he was the best

  • u sound good on tama. you must like them. I can't stand my tama set

  • He's good, but best drummer? no

i could name more drummers then youtube would allow me to, but

    awsome job man.

  • HE PLAYS TRADITIONAL!!!!!!! AWESOME MAN, It's hard to do that playin traditional style,

  • good stuff

  • ehh.. he's allright , but awful sense of style - Dolphins suck -

  • Nice stuff but "Worlds Best"? Really?

  • its gd, not the best drummer in the world tho

  • nice touch with the stick flip. you have my respect. =)

  • Beautiful

  • nice work man!

  • he's good, but u cant be the best drummer in the world and like the dolphins.

  • I agree wholeheartedly!

  • fucking nora, he's good lol.

  • haha look at john bodham! haha good job man

  • the drum timbal

  • nice drummin.........not the best in the world but he is very good.....oh yea and tell him to take of the shiet...lol....

  • pretty sick, easily one of the best ive seen. give him some more drums and i think with some time getin accustomed to it he could EASILY be the best. like wes had said the double crossover is extremely difficult and you must have you drums at not only a comfortable angle for playin but they have to be perfect for the throw to work out the way it did. kudos!

  • since I'm into metal drumming, it didn't attract me so much. But anyways.. keep it up!

  • 10 out of 10 for givin it a damn good shot, you got balls.

  • I hate the way the set is tuned. sounds like he is playing roto toms.

  • he totally played snare in a line.

    prolly in high school.

  • if thats ur dad u have 2 follow in his fotsteps lol =)

  • verry nice

  • very good sounds like he was in drumline as a kid or something

  • I had to watch in extreme slow motion, but if you watch at about 1:33:08 he not only does the cross-over, but a snatch-grab technique that few are able to do. It is a toss and catch while still playing continuously. Very hard. This guy, might not be the best.. sorry I love Neil Peart and others too, but he is damn good. Thanks for posting.

  • Thanks for watching; I'll pass this along to my dad (the guy in the video) =)

  • drumming was good...but i got a few words about the shirt lol

  • Impressive, he doesn't look like a drummer dad, he looks like more of a dad that would be dissapointed in his kid for wanting to drum instead of play football...like my dad.... :( Anyway, that was great!

  • yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • hes pretty good... but definitly not the best. good work though

  • exactly, he's great but not the best.

  • xD xD yea sure xD

  • Im not saying im a better drummer cuz i dont drum..buuut..he is not the best drummer..hes good..but not the best

  • holy shet...

  • No matter how good you are, there are about 1 million other people better than you. Same with me and everyone.

  • Not if your neal pert

  • i dont know about best drummer in the world, but pretty damn good anyways lol

  • Trick at the end worked really well

  • This guys is a DCI guy am I right seems to have a strong marching influence...

  • He's doing Buddy Rich chops. You know them when you hear them.

  • very nice

  • good playing, but the title seems a bit conceded

  • He's my dad; I'm just proud of course ;) Not trying to sound conceited =)

  • i was gonna say the same as him

but fair enough thats what id put the video as lol

  • He's really good.

  • nice job

  • It was acually quite creative, even if he used mostly basic stuff.Sadly he hit his stocks by accident at some point, ah well, still a great job.

  • nice

  • you are a really good drummer but i know of quite a few other drummers who are better. indeed good but not the best.

  • at the end was some good stuff

  • pretty good for a 6 piece

  • 5 piece

  • you mean 5 piece?

  • You mean 5?

  • it's a 5

  • PRETTY good? He's fuckin great! As Buddy Rich told Carl Palmer: " What you steal, you play well."

  • Sounded familiar to Led Zeppelin`s drummer ;D

Cool stuff, was fun to listen :) Creative

  • go dolphins!! lol yeah man nice one

  • nice.

  • the dang stick trick at the end caught me by surprise. cool stuff

  • this guys good but buddy rich pownes lol

  • how well does he play with other musicians?

  • He loves playing with other musicians, and just loves making music in general. He would love to just quit his job and join a band =)

  • y is he not in a band

  • definitely john bonham influenced solo ;)

  • great drummer

    bad tuner

have someone tune those drums peoper

  • His drums are tuned fine. I like em high my self, not tuned like whale shit. You can actually tell a difference between the toms.

  • its tuned to sound like any good traditional jazz kit

  • Now this is proper drumming, bloody amazing. Ok, big massive kits, double bass etc etc with speedy rock stars and the likes are impressive but this is proper good drumming.

    Nice one, i like.

  • Yes man ur cool, laughed the end. Keep up the good work dude

  • it's good but he is never the worlds best drummer xD

  • ill be your age before i reach fame, You rock. Just feel what you do, Dont stop, eat ya greens, dont drink, you'l live to 100years.

  • this is an amazing drum solo but your heads are way to tight there should be a tone difference. im not sure if its the audio it might be but im not sure from what it sounds like try unscrewing the tension screws and hand tighten them, then tighten with half turns until the wrinkles are out of the head when u press hard on it

thats when u know ur heads are tuned. u have to do it for both sides or else it wont work. BUT AMAZING SOLO KEEP ROCKING!!!

  • i really get exited whe i saw the last part of this video

  • sounds a lot like papa joe jones, or is it justs me.

    its excellento by the way!

  • nice! the ending was amazing!

  • holy crap

  • Lol, I thought there were 2 drummers because of the mirror.

  • same lol

  • very technically sound drumming!

  • those were some sexy crossovers at the end there my friend!

  • UR WICKED you rock

  • expert!!!

  • Wow, that was a really good set. Usually when you see a youtube video title saying, "Best Drummer In the World" You expect to see some kid who never sat behind a kit thinking he's amazing just because his parents bought him a set, but you pretty much blew my expectations away. I don't think you need a bigger set, You're doing amazingly well on what you have. All i would recomend is a double bass pedal, if even.

Wish i could do stuff like that...

  • Thanks so much for your comment. Actually, I named that video "world's best drummer" because I'm his very proud daughter =) I just send him the link to his 2 videos every once in a while and he reads the comments...makes him feel good =) Thanks again.

  • double pedal....no way! it just makes drummers dummer imo because attention is drawn to "awesome sound" of it instead of creating unique rhythms and style. of course there's some drummers really know how to use double pedals without ruin the wholeness but it's quite rear.

anyway, nice personal solo, i like it. :)

  • I didn't see or hear any double pedal. What he played didn't really need a double pedal..I've been playing drums for 8yrs and it's very possible to do this with just one.

His high-hat foot is moving, opening & closing the high-hat even when he's not "using" it. Plenty of drummers do that.

  • looooool good solo!!!

  • Hardly the best in the world ;)

But he is very good! I was impressed!

  • agreed. he is still good but not the best

  • nice

  • not many drummers nowadays can use rim taps in a musical way like that, great job

  • dude u reek of rich and Krupa....well done keep it alive

  • he sure as fuck does.. : P

    awesome man

  • not the best but it was tight

  • that was cool

  • Dude, I havto admit, this is really impressive

  • the end is good you should try to make a drum solo with using the end part to be almost all the song

  • omg your good

  • damn good, ya could benefit with a bigger kit though. class, the end is awesome, i might try to learn that!

  • there called crossovers...

start crazy slow- you will probably hit yourself and drop the sticks alot- but eventually youll get it up to this guys speed.

  • wow coool at the end

  • Holy crap :P <3 the end

  • dolphins #1

  • Fucking love the end!

  • deff. some good stuff, you should really think about gettting a bigger set instead of a 5 pc. u could do a lot more and are good enuf

the last part was pretty epic lol

  • The whole video was awesome, and the last part is really nice! :)

  • ha. the ending is wicked *claps for you mate*

  • Good shit man,.......

  • This is really good, ya never know who lurks behind the counter do ya. fair play, you rock mate!

  • areet but the end was class

  • that kit is seriously out of shape and its all clavę but its still good
