I can't believe it is 10 years since I went to see this.

Basically, the core of the Medbourne team was formed by local lads who were in the Tigers youth team. They were big chaps.

Good fun. Great tradition. A very memorable day.

Yeah it is Leicestershire, a long way into Leicestershire actual, nowhere near Northamptonshire. My Auntie lives in Hallaton so I should know. If you watch the video it says Leicestershire annual event on the poster at the start.

Great to see it caught on video though. I've watched a few times but would never take part it's crazy!

Brilliant Video- only thing on the net that actually explains Bottle Kicking well...though it is Leicestershire!

Just to explain too- the reason it starts closer to Hallaton is cos it was originally a Hallaton only thing. one year medbourne nicked off with the barrel and it became an us vs them thing- which is wicked but it has always started from the same spot- it's not a deliberate bias!
