Man, this was back the promos never sounded like scripted crap, just Ausin telling it like it is and not caring. At least wrestling has become better with the Rock returning for a while and Austin came back for WM...but you'll still never get this back.

This was such a great storyline. Austin legit hurt his neck so he couldn't wrestle. Anyone who told him not to, he refused to listen to them and would eventually lay them out with a Stunner. It came from real life and was incredibly understandable: A man doing what he had to, going against authority and doctor's orders, because he needed to work to provide for his family. And the climax, when Austin finally stunned McMahon, was the birth of maybe the greatest rivalry in WWF history.
