Thats no surprise at all. Sidekick iD doesn't have EDGE speeds. Only GPRS. Which is slower than EDGE. The LX has EDGE and would intern begin to load and display the page faster, the iD would load most of it first then display it.

I owned both.

they've got a whole league of suckers who love mac.

They know if they release a phone without features (camera) wait a year, and release the exact same phone, just with a camera and a few other patches,

those people will go out and spend another 600$ just to get the camera and what not.

so they've made 1,200$ instead of 600, just by releasing a brand new phone, when the old one could of had those parts already in the first place.

And the reason why the Sidekick LX (2007) took longer was not just because it had more features. It also doesn't have that much RAM. If you look at the Sidekick LX 2009, you will notice that it starts up way faster and has a lot more features than both of these phones put together. The reason why it starts up faster is because it has a ton of RAM.

yall gotta remember....SPEED on a SK is determined by the ammount of shit you got loaded onto yo memory card...hence if you got 400pics(stored on memory) an addtional 60+ saved too the DEVICE itself,and 300 mp3's, and you running on a 1gig memory card or even 2gig, YOU GONNA HAVE SOME SLOWDOWn effects,mines wus like that i had to delete hella shit everytime i would even scroll near my mp3 icon on the jump screen it would automaticcly freeze
