@TheRiderOfSteel - The audio in this video is the original single (or varient thereof), not a live performance, and sounds much better than is represented in this video. There has been loss either in the transfer to tape, transfer to youtube, or compression used. At any rate, this video is definately not HQ. In fact...what does this being recorded in the sixties have to do with anything? Most of the recordings 64ish onwards are of spectacular quality.

Years ago, I saw them at Lake Phalen in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA.

It was very informal, which I really enjoyed. He let my friends and I (and some other people) sit on the speakers. We fed him beers! It was a great time.

For those bandying about where he is from - He was born in East Prussia. He and his mother fled to Arnstadt (East Germany) in 1945, and then from there to Hanover (West Germany) in 1948 when John was 5 years old. Then from there to Canada.

Used to frequent this club when I was a teenager and this was always belting out - it had Go -Go dancers in Cages that hung from the roof - Amazing Place. Love this song.
