Hey Chris, you should buy the Superman Blu-ray collection. It's amazing. The picture quality and the sound for 1 and 2 1/2 (2 1/2 means the Dick Donner version) is amazing and the special features are nothing short of super. By the way, your DVD collection in the background blew my mind. My God, so alphabetized.

When I was a kid I liked T2 ALOT more than Terminator 1 but know that I watch those movies again years later... T1 is overall a WAY better movie to me, but I also don't like the franchise as much as I used to. T3 was bad and Terminator Salvation was a pretty big disappointment also. That was the only movie set in the future and there was never any big battles except in the beginning like EVERY other Terminator movie. You also should review Alien and what you expect from the Prometheus movie.

Is it me or are fights filmed in one shot with the actors doing the stunts the best fights ever? I hate when the camera is all shakey (in the last two James Bond flicks, uck!) or when every punch takes three cuts to hit the other guy.

You ever see Street Kings? Ledger prancing around in that nurse's costume quite offended my strong heterosexual sensibilities, although I'll admit he did look fetching at times. Mr. Stuckmann I asked Mr.John Flickster about his TV in respect to the blueray and he said he had a 1080p TV. Do you have a 1080p TV? I don't, that is why I won't get a blueray player, I just don't think I will get the quality of blueray out of my 720p TV. Just thought I should mention it. Thanks

Get some Criterions dude! They come out with the best collections. Lots of 2 disk sets. Some of the best money I have ever gotten The Royal Tenenbaums, The Thin Red Line and 8 1/2. I recommend getting them

I agree with you on Terminator. T2 was better but the first was one is still a classic. However I disagree with you on T3. It's a film that knows what it's trying to be. Suspenseful,kick-ass action scenes and funny comedy. It's nothing more then that and is entertaining as hell(the first 2 are better though). However I respect your opinion. Tom is a really cool guy. Great video! And for a good Blu-Ray player, go for a PS3. They aren't too expensive and you can also play games. Other blu-ray players require firmware updates, PS3s don't. And Tom is awesome!

If you get a Blu-ray player, remember to buy Lord of the Rings Extended Editions. They look magnificent on Blu-ray and I think its going for $50.00 on Amazon. I also know you love those films. You can also get combo packs that come withe the Blu-ray, DVD, and digital copy. They only downside is no special features for the DVD.

LOL Chris, I just got a Blu-Ray player a few months ago, so you're not the last person. That was very cool for Tom to do that. btw, I COMPLETELY agree about Terminator 1/T2 and Batman Begins/The Dark Knight. I do prefer the T2 to T1, but T1 has some incredible tension and is more of a horror film. I actually think Batman Begins is almost as great as The Dark Knight except for some minor flaws (Katie Holmes was a bit weak in it imo, and there was too much shaky cam for the action scenes).

I have a PS3 and can easily say it is the easiest to work with (having owned another player that failed). Just make sure you get an HDMI cord. I forgot that part and they were never in HD. And get it for no more than $15. I recommend Amazon.com's cord. And yes, The Dark Knight looks and sounds amazing on blu-ray! Good luck with your collection! I can remember when I got my first blu-ray, and I didn't plan on replacing my DVD collection, but now I do! It's fun but there's so much you wanna get!
