People now idolize Senna, but after that race, many people inside F1 considered banning Senna from F1 (suspending his superlicense.) If you are a sportsman, which means that you have actually competed on sports, you know what is fair game and what's not. What Senna did on this race has no excuse.

@longde yes, it has excuse, while it is a response to an unfair ruler. Prost throwed his car over Senna's, on purpose, the year before. Senna continued the race and won it. But Ballestre and FIA deliberately decided to take off his points due to a maneuver (going through the chicane, in order to avoid going backwards over traffic) that was approved by ALL the drivers right after.

Senna knew it was the last race of the season and he'd be the champ unless Prost got 1st. As soon as he hit Prost he knew he'd won. It's all about actions and consequences. If we don't want people to do this then we should kick them out when they do but at this time there was no punishment. It's called cheating when it's against the rules but if it isn't it can be called a cheap trick or a brilliant loophole. Either way when Senna hit Prost he knew what he would be called "Champion".
