@ThirtyMinus put the .exe in a folder, then type "mount c c:\*your folder* then run the game. that easy

I'm pretty sure I did exactly what you said to polymorphism111, but when I run ROADRASH in the extracted folder it says "You need to install RoadRash before you can run it. Please run the Setup program." I'm running Windows 7 64bit. Any ideas? Thanks.

@pranav0011 go to task manager after you alt-tab out of the game and kill the explorer process. i can't login to youtube too often now as am travelling, so don't expect reply anytime soon. pls read the other comments. hope that helps. cheers!

@polymorphism111 If u have the iso file just extract contents to a folder by clicking on rashdemo. Then from ROADRASH folder on iso file copy all the contents to the extracted folder n replace the existing files. Then from the SETUP folder on the iso file copy AWEMAN32.DLL also 2 the extracted folder. Then click on ROADRASH. But while playing make sure u end explorer.exe process using task manager cos the new directx screws up the colors. Hope dis works.:D

Thanks for the tip with killing explorer.exe to fix the graphical glitch.

Thanks to this I could write a bat file which automates the process:

taskkill /f /im explorer.exe

roadrash.exe

start explorer.exe

-------------

it kills explorer.exe, executes the game and starts explorer.exe again, once the game is closed.

either you put the file inside your road rash directory or you change its second line so it fits the directory. for example:

taskkill /f /im explorer.exe

c:\games\roadrash\roadrash.exe

start explorer.exe

if you have the game installed in c:\games\roadrash\ that is.

@Xiquad haha. i know. smacking ur opponents in TLAD races kinda reminded me of roadrash. As a kid i used to play this game a lot. So just wanted to race down the memory lane.!xD it required a few tweaks though to play on win 7.. this will keep me busy until i get PoP: forgotten sands..
