maybe . . . its because the people who made the real ghostbusters had some form of respect for the original ghostbusters franchise and didnt see any reason to disrespect it.

Unlike today's remakes where they go in with the attitude that the original was a piece of shit that needed to be gutted and repaired.

Just maybe, MAYBE the people who made the real ghostbusters synched it in homage

I think that Real Ghostbusters theme matches up better with Filmation's Ghostbusters rather than Filmation's Ghostbusters theme matches up with Real Ghostbusters (if that makes sense!!)
