  • If all College drumlines were like this, the world would be a better place.

  • very nice.

  • this is scv's double beat..did msu rename it?

  • I've forgotten what Murray Gusseck originally named it. But apparently the inspiration for this came from a Mantronix track that was a remixed version of Reich's Drumming. We've referred to it as Reich since MSU started playing it in 2004.

  • I don't see how Gusseck got Double Beat out of Reich's Drumming...

    You look familiar btw...

  • its not the original version of Reich's "Drumming" there's a whole album where Mantronix remixed Reich's pieces. "Drumming" happened to be one of them, and it sounds EXACTLY like this.

  • I want a high quality audio of this!!! Amazing and brilliant use of Reich's music. Where can I get it?

  • The Santa Clara Vanguard drum and Bugle corps were the first to perform this. This drumline arrangement was from a Mantronix track that was inspired by Reich's Drumming. I would google Santa Clara Vanguard to look for an audio track of the drumline.

  • finally a tenor line that can get the triplet groove dude this vid just made my day
