@klir2m Fear had many riots. I was at one at the Whiskey in L.A. We left through a gauntlet of cops in riot gear after Lee told everyone to get up on stage and we thrashed the instruments. GnR: definitely talented, and I have no problem with the cover, but they were nowhere near the danger, anger and unpredictability of Fear and some of the other original punk bands. People got their ass kicked or got stabbed routinely at the Whiskey, the Roxy, Madame Wong's, Palladium, etc.... Good times!
