I would love to try this but knowing my hair...I know it will be frizzy and coarse after it dries. Same thing happens when I put rollers on, comes out too frizzy and coarse. I have wavy hair, any recommendation so that it won't come out frizzy after trying this? Thanks!

yes this is a way. but also know and be aware that its not good for your hair to be gathered when its wet. it can break of if u do that too much.

I did this before and did not have my buns evenly down the back of my head like you did. I had curls without product for most of my day but man... I didn't get a good night's sleep.

doesn't really work for short hair... just use those foam curlers and leave them in overnight they don't hurt your head as bas as buns when you lay on then

what i do is curl my hair with ghds and put around 4 buns in and go to sleep, when i take them out the next morning my hair has a really nice look to it that i cant get just by curling it with irons

i put a whole bunch of little buns/balls all over my head with mousse, gel, and hairspray on it. then i sleep on it and when i wake up and take it out, my hair is like 3 inches shorter cause its soooo curly!!!!!

It's actually called bantu knots I did them all my life in really works and holds the shape of the curls or waves really well but the less product the better for some hair types.

all you need to do is twist the hair then tie it with a hairband to keep it place. thats how she got the curly look... i think hehe i'll try it tomorrow let you know what happens
