Yes, Is a horror film, but it isn't really like "The Exorcist" or "The Omen" (main films connected in similar themes with this). The horror is created, like in "Repulsion", most in the mind of the protagonist (Farrow was just beautiful and fragile). Why you didn't feel connected with the movie, really? Well, it's your opinion and I respect it. But the ending is brilliant! It was perfect for the movie...

I think for the time it was made it was probably a really unique horror movie, but for us its just another twist type drama. I don't enjoy most horror but this movie had solid acting and was really weird at the end, which I appreciate. Why a Polansky film? Its still too soon!
I saw this for the first time yesterday and I also think it's more of a psychological drama with horror elements. I was contemplating on whether or not I should review this but my computer fan is beyond screwed up.I really want to see Repulsion. I'll try to check it out very soon. great review.

good review as always-i didnt like this film myslef, it's considered a horror but I dont remember seeing anything remotely scary in it.
I listened to the new podcast today-good stuff (except for some of the stuff leland said about antichrist lol) =] x
