Great to hear this song again. I remember reading the sheet music and singing this song while sitting on the front "stoop" of a tenament on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, NY. Good memory.

This song doesn't get played on "Oldies" stations for some reason. Napster (10 years ago) and YouTube (today) are terrific ways to recover those gems that still stick in the memory. That's how I found another old gem you'll never hear on the radio, "My Daddy Is President." The little Caroline Kennedy song.

OMG! I've been looking for this song for the past 20 plus years ever since I heard it on the radio. I didn't know the name of it, and my search eventualy led me through the technological time barrier to you tube where I searched in vain for 30 min. until I just typed in the first line that I remembered. Thank you so much. It's a sweet, kind of corny song that brings back sweet memories of a simpler era gone my:)
