  • you need a lavalier mic. it will help to reduce the echoing in the room or use a shot gun mic.

  • Thanks for the tips guys! We are definitely learning and improving with experience. You'll be pleased to know we have invested in top notch audio equipment and have carpeted that room, so hopefully acoustic problem solved. Watch this space for more footage and keep the comments coming!

  • You girls look great.

Yes acoustic treatment is always a good idea.

  • PS: Great work with styling and makeup, you both look great.

  • - Film against the wall, not the corner of the room.

    - Put a sofa in the room or use somewhere carpeted, that echo is bad.

    - Replace Lloyd with a tripod, even a cheap one is fine.

    - Zoom in closer, all that extra space makes it look amateur.

  • Carpet, roof treatment, sound-deadening material on walls behind the camera, perhaps a fabric wall hanging in scene, and find a corner where the walls don't meet at 90 degrees.

Or start singing! Present acoustics are similar to a shower.

  • you should get a better microphone and reduce the echo in that room. It sounds like people talking in a fish tank.
