@koalajones88 That's fair comment, but the point I was making wasn't about storyline, you're absolutely right it's been the centre of attention at times, because of who was competing for it. The point is they let anyone get a hold of the Heavyweight, e.g. Khali, Swagger, Ziggler and most recently Christian. They dont let those guys NEAR the WWE title, and it's clear which title they hold in higher regard because of that

@koalajones88 The World Heavyweight is actually the old WCW title, it's not as important as the WWE title, which is the descendant of the old WWF title. Booker has really only held the WCW title. Yeah the ECW title and the show in general got very little push, it was definitely seen as second string. And I agree, it's just a way of appeasing fans that Rocky is the 1st black champ

When they amalgamated he held what was the WCW title again, but never the one they cared about, the WWF title. So you could say there's never been a black champion.
