Im thinking of going 1/5 scale, the redcat rampage currently comes with a 30cc will the stock one be fine, or will i still need to upgrade the engine to get some good acceleration?

i got two of these bad boys 26cc stock engine is great with a tunned pipe but i'll tell yea 28.5/ 29cc bigbore kits and a tunned pipe and you got your selfs lots of hours of fun!

My friend bought one.Had missing parts for the kit version.(still waiting for them)Saw one in the store ,looked like a drunk monkey painted it!! Off half an inch .Is this the same quality as the rest of the truck??? Ill stick to losi! sorry Alli. Not sold. ACE

Gas Put out a lot more Power Compared to Nitro

Nitro's are faster due to weight and the fuel (that contains nitro itself)

It is true that if you use Nitro Fuel and Gas on the same sized engine nitro will Kick Gas's Ass XD

but Nitro scales are fast since their engines are so small and the chasis is SOOO compact and light.

I meant to say that Gas powered ones are fast at their scale and weight.

Hi JetProV3. I dont work for redcatracing. My comments are based on personal opinion and in no way serves as a marketing gimmick. The truck is top notch and will market itself. However, I do appreciate the fact that Redcat has come out with a new (affordable)product that will give the competition a run for their money.

I wish my Baja 1000 was as durable as that truck. I have had crashes less spectacular than the one at the 4.26 mark, and my day was done.

yeah i agree, on a buggy 23cc is enough, but on an mt you need the extra grunt to handle the sheer weight and size of the vehicle, i mean a mt weights around 15-20kg's.
