  • I've heard that soldiers issued Lee Enfields were taught to aim for the belt. I don't know how true this is, and maybe the original ammunition had different ballistics. Beautiful rifle, though.

  • @AnimeFanatic5602 If you had a shot at a standing soldier and if it was close distance then I guess that makes sense but after about the first minute of getting shot at I don't think anyone was walking around in the straight up position much, lol.

  • @crowshootpie I'll pay u good money. U name the price. Will that change ur mind?

  • @hrout Sorry bud, I'm sure you will find one out there, it may take awhile, I wish you luck.

  • @hrout And I'm serious. Been looking for such a piece for years.

  • @hrout Definitely keeping it - way too much fun to shoot. Take care man.

  • God damn! I thought mine was the best condition one around but I think yours has got it beat!

  • @TaZ101SAGA Haha, thanks man. I once took it into a gun shop where the owner had been in business for over 40 years and he said the same thing. Too funny!

  • It's a magazine, not a clip :-)

  • @size9ed If you watch the video called Larry Weishuhn and Ruger where he is discussing the American Rifle; you will notice at 2:52 he says clip not once but twice. It's all the same, just depends how old your are I guess as clip was a popular term in my day, cause I feel that old - lol Take care out there.

  • Hello from Athens Greece , very nice rifle , great video . Ένα όμορφο ντουφέκι , ένα πολύ όμορφο βίντεο.

  • @prosfilis Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ, glad you stopped by from Greece.

  • great video............

  • @ralframons Thank you my German brother :)

  • Awesome rifle man. Sweet ops gear t shirt too.

  • @MrPMC23 Hahaha, nice catch on the shirt, thanks for stopping in and happy new year to you.

  • Damn LUCKY YOU!

  • @kazbeckful Never really considered myself lucky before, but yeah - maybe. lol, thanks for the inquiry and comment.

  • @crowshootpie haha yea u can tell its in great shape

  • Very nice rifle!

  • @Teleoceras Thanks a bunch, it's a pretty clean piece alright.

  • Is the magazine removable? I've heard that the magazines on some Enfields are removable and I've even seen detachable Enfield mags for sale.

  • @SergeiMosinJr Yupper the magazines are standard 10 shot removable magazines.

  • beautiful specimen of a No.4Mk.2...

  • @cythera431 Thanks, it's definitely one that I really enjoy.

  • I'll buy it off ya!

  • @SpiroHrvoje1989 lol, yeah I think if I would have advertised it a bit better I might of made the mistake and sold it.

  • @crowshootpie Well its just stunningly beautiful, if I were you I would hang on to that thing for dear life

  • Mine no4 mk2 f has number 1 to but they say it starts with 0 but thats hard to believe since i bought it new wrapped!

  • Whats the number on your bold head? 1/2/3?

  • @MrCvjetko The bolt head is stamped with a number 1.

  • How come it always seems to be the Americans that get hold of these new/unissued Enfields..None on this side of the pond?

  • @Marlever357 This one's in Canada. Kind of an interesting question though - as to how they ended up being shipped out of the United Kingdom.

  • Very nice. Beautiful rifle. very good group too

  • @ThePouitree Thanks!

  • Very nice. Beautiful rifle.

  • Using the flip up micrometer rear sight will shrink that group size.

  • Beautiful rifle, well worth keeping. They are currently selling for $1000+ in my area, so you did well when you bought it.

  • @drcfox I think it took me about 30 seconds to decide on the purchase of the rifle when I first seen it as I liked it that much. Wow a grand would be a good return on what I paid. Thanks for checking out the video and for the comments.

  • Lol, yeah I know about the clip/magazine thing but old habits die hard as I was taught

"clip" at about ten years old and that's been thirty years now. Not showing a serial number is just a personal preference kind of thing, kind of like the ladies on youtube that show you some of their body but not all of it as some has to be left to the imagination :D. Take care.

  • why would it matter if anyone saw the serial number on your rifle? you planning on using it in a drive by haha oh and be careful some of the clip/magazine psycho's will attack you for saying it has a clip :D
