The first time I came across electronic music was when I went to see A Clockwork Orange about 1973.The opening scene when all the gang were in the Milk Bar,it was

an electronic version of L.v. Beethoven by Walter Carlos,got the L.P. & played it to death.Went to see Krafterk live in M/cr. about 74 in town,The Odean I think.They had all the background effects even then,electronic drums with cables coming off the drum sticks etc.,36 years ago!.Still great.

Por cierto, supongo que ya habría ud oído las versiones para cuarteto de cuerda (respetando los arreglos originales, sin suavizar el ritmo para nada) de Aleksander Balanescu, o la versión que se hizo en Viena de su Trans Europe Express con coro y sinfónica, sr músico. Esas versiones no pierden un ápice de la esencia del original. Es muy importante, si uno es músico, saber usar mejor los oídos que los prejuícios.
