I put up two music videos for comparison. One is made with Animoto and the other with IPhoto (using the KB effect). I like each one for different reasons. For example, I think the IPhoto video is more contemplative and that complements this collection of photos. But it's the animoto videos that animate me.
I'm interested in seeing contrasting pairs of music videos that others create using different technologies and comparing the impact on the viewer.
... in the motion and behind the filters. The campfire shot is one that I would have loved to see much longer, as are some of the cattle shots. Let's hope that Animoto will allow for more customization in the future. In the meantime, Animoto is still a valuable publishing tool. I would most likely never have seen your images if it hadn't been for Animoto.
One question: Why does this video offer a High Quality option, while the others (mine included) don't?
"Wow!" was my reaction when I watched this video for the first time. Animoto certainly adds a lot of energy and playfulness to a slide show. I was impressed enough to create my own Animoto video (you can watch it on my channel). The Animoto effect seems to work better for some image collections than others, though. I think some of your conference videos gained more from the Animoto treatment than this one. This video has some really nice photos, and they are somewhat lost . . . (to be continued)

Nicely done, but yes, the cuts are too quick. Switch to decaf!
