I firmly believe that musicians are amazing in general. Just because you don't enjoy their style as much as another style, doesn't make that music any less valuable. Musicians from the US and the UK are both very talented. In my mind, music is NOT competitive, there should not be disputes over which you like better.

While there are different cultural influences, both nations are great places. I'm fairly certain that when the UK controlled a third of the world it wasn't the most popular nation.

This is a great version of the song. It works totally. I agree, you have to see the whole show to see these videos in context. The transition from the slower acoustic version when 'Kyle' is at home alone and then this at the end when he's persuaded to take part in the choir is fantastic.
