I think this is (could be) the best Pete Rock beat i've ever heard. But that's a hard decision because he's a god at producing. I'd SAY Premo and Pete Rock are the best producers. Then you have some other amazing underground producers like Lord Finesse and Buckwild.

Pete Rock has a unbelievable ability to make anything bounce... Even tho Primo made the orignal and 3 parts... But I don't think Primo has a problem with Pete Rocks remix because Pete kept it true to the style!

@blacknuyorican The beat doesn't suit the lyrics and concept in my opinion... The original hardcore, this is more mellow, like @LifeFreedom13 said... I'm both a Primo and PR fan.. In terms of beats this is more catchy, still prefer the other one, it suits the whole subject perfectly. This is PR tryna' do a Primo, he's sorrt of pulled it off, but he's still not there.
