Sometimes through trojans, sometimes you end up on a wrong site and you could accident download something which you think is something else and then you got it. AVG has a database of the rogue program sites.

Try booting up in safe mode with networking, by holding the F8 key down it will come up with a screen Choose Safe Mode with Networking, Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, SuperAntispyware, Spybot Search & Destroy scan with those and remove anything found after scanning still having problems let me know and i will help you fix it

Not true if you listened carefully, if you already have the conficker worm stage 1 or stage 2 that it wants you to clean it with this rogue program called Spyware Protect 2009 then in order to remove it, it says you have to pay for a license to remove it. Then those people which made that program Spyware Protect 2009 get your credit card information and keep it, Listen to it again

I cannot watch your video, but I did use the malwarebytes software and it worked I'm sure it deleted all that crap.

But ever since I got rid of the malware, I was no longer able to connect to the internet. My internet connection is working, i'm typing on my laptop right now, while it was my desktop that was infected. I'm not very tech savy, so I really cannot figure out the problem.

Oh I also used the winsock application, but still no internet.

You have to change the name of mbam in the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware folder which is in the Program Files folder to something else like malbam
