To be honest, this anime is one of the most famous anime in whole this world, it's coming close to Naruto and Pokémon. They should publish this on tv. Kurosaki Maon (HOTD soundtrack) is probably my favorite female singer, though Kajiura Yuki, Yoko Kanno and several of the singers that sing her songs on her OSTs (Ilaria Graziano & ORIGA) kick ass too. I like within temptations' singer a lot too (euro gothic rock band).

@CWolfyWolf correction: Japanese also use auto-tune at times. The difference is, first they usually use it for effect, not for note correction (leaving most of the voice natural) and when they do use it for note correction, they know how to use it RIGHT without dehumanizing the voice.

@animelover2447 It's Hishoku no Sora. ^^ And same thing happened to me. The first opening still kinda is. I think it holds a more calmer tune for the series, while the opening for season 2 reflected all the action that has happened.

@jeremyduncan414 I disagree. I liked the mystery and horror of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, especially the extremely high Holy Shit Quotient (number of times you say HOLY SHIT / number of scenes) it had the first time watching it, more than I liked Shakugan no Shana.

Shakugan no Shana is still my second favorite anime, but the first half of season two dragged out too much.

You can't really compare the two very well, but I guess it just boils down to your own personal preferences.

@jeremyduncan414 I do love Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. But I'm not a big fan of horror. It's not one of my top 5 anime series I would watch, but the best horror anime I would recommend to anyone.

Shakugan no Shana is awesome. I loved 1st season and liked 2nd and OVA seasons. It earned its place as my 2nd most favorite anime.

My 1# top favorite is To Aru Majutsu no Index. I loved both seasons they had so far.

i want this anime to come out soon for 2 reasons. 1 i really wanna see how it ends! and 2 after they finish SNS theyll probably come out with a new season of zero no tsukaima! its a really good shoujo, somewhat ecchi, hilarious and makes me all happy ~^-^~ it has a really good main couple and they use shana's voice for the main character. if you like shanas voice you should check it out sometime cuz its really good

I hope they can settle everything in 3rd season (and maybe add a couple funny OVAs).
