  • I'm not really into art, but your stuff is amazing. You really should work on making it available to purchase online. Great work, glad to see you are still at it.

  • how did yu do the clouds!?

    please let me know! :)

  • Also you are killing your brain not wearing a mask, that's worse than not wearing one with an airbrush.

  • Um what is the point in putting airbrush keywords in your vid, we don't want to see spray can art when we look for airbrushing vids, they aren't even the same. You could never use a spray can to do a lot of things you could with an AB and and AB takes more skill to use. Don't want bad comments? Don't mislead with keywords.

  • ..i like you clouds

  • Not bad with mute on.

  • some things to say

    epic

15 people missed the like button

    perfect song

    dont stop making videos

  • nice job

  • pretty sweet........i'm also an artist...wish i had that kind of time on my hands.....good job!!! do you ever use rubber cement? i us it all the time for airbrushing and such....works good as a masking,,,rub alittle of at a time,,,spray ,,,rub alittle more,,,ands a nice effect.....paint on....thanks for the visual.,,damo

  • Use a primer before painting. You need to pick up special canvas primer at any art supply retailer.

  • @papadonto8

    Gesso ftw

  • Very nice. I have been doin spraypaint art for bout a month now and love it. i gotta say i like this alot

  • i really like how u put so much time in the detail of everything very good job also i was just wondering when did u start doing this and how long did it take u to become this good?

  • @arrowupload1 thank you! very much! :)

and in september it will be 3 years since i started painting, however this video was made in 2007.

  • nice artwork, but if i here kryptonit one more time i will murder some kids seriously i here that song everywhere since i was ten

  • i liked how you skipped the part i was most interested in... lol

howd you do the clouds?! they look good

  • @garfunkl3 take another look at around 6:44 it's a small stencil i made. it shows me using it. i didnt skip it.

  • by the moment you decide to make such a video u should not try not to reveal secrets.the technic for clouds is on your left side of the table with the papers cut in such a formation. knowledge is to be shared not hidden.

  • @morfeas85 hah, well actually it's just a video of the painting in progression, not a tutorial, but i do show how i do the clouds at around 6:44 . look harder next time before you accuse me of things.

  • with all respect i do not accuse of things. i just comment that there is no need for videos of painting in progression. what people need are tutorials.

  • @morfeas85 You're discussing 'need' with art. Art is, by nature, unnecessary. This video gives a glimpse into the workings of the artist, a piece of art in itself.

  • @morfeas85

We're artists. We can post whatever the fuck we want. This is a video site, not a tutorial site. Do you think he learned this with a damn tutorial?

  • @morfeas85 I painted similar paintings just by watching videos of this guy painting i progress... i think its great to watch too thanks for posting the video ;)

  • wow dude ur good

  • howd you do the clouds?

  • How'd you do the clouds man? they look dope and i cant seem to get any looking that crisp.

  • small bob ross huh? ( ;

keep the good work up !

Maybe u try a picture with oil or acryl color =)

  • @McMike1312 haha, hardly at his level. but thanks so much! :) and i would like to try it sometime, maybe when i have more free time. thanks for the nice words! :)

  • that was so great thank you, who knew I could paint!

  • I totally feel your pain on the canvas situation. I did a piece earlier today. The canvas literally drank all of my darker colors. lol

  • @atmunney22 yeah, i found that if you prime it first with clear paint it helps, but it takes quiiiite a bit. I prefer posterboard by far.

  • This is really Beautiful... you have a very real talent!

  • Iv'e done some work similar to this yours is great keep on paintin man

  • what type of paint should i use, gloss, semi gloss, flat colors, any suggestions?

    thanks

  • you want to use gloss paint on glossy posterboard. otherwise it might not turn out because it will set weird.

  • okay...so for example i go and find the label "red gloss" and so on? any brand you prefer?

just dont want to spend money again on shit paint that wont work, thanks

  • ben man!!! ur so good at art?

aye i will pay u if u make me a really cool painting..

i have an idea! paint me a picture of air yeezy's haha.

  • haha, is this kevo?? haha

  • no dude!!! who's kevo?

i never heard of him before...

  • what this music?

  • 3 doors down-kryptonite

  • groovy reflection...

  • sick

  • omg! this is soo cool! =D ive tried spray painting...its alot harder that it looks i gotta say haha. nice!

  • what kind of paper do you use?

  • It was done on canvas says in description.

  • i love the painting, really amazing! great job! :D

  • Wow that was amazing u got talent! =)

  • Man, that is fricking awesome! Thanks for sharing some of your techniques, I'm building a travel trailer for my family and I'm going to use some of your stuff to paint the outside. I might need a few more cans than you used. :)

  • oh wow thats sick! :) and thanks, im really glad you like my work. what are you going to paint on the outside? :)

  • thats hella baller

  • hah, thanks for checkin it out!

  • thanks!! :D

    very much!

  • props on the reflection. It looks really easy, but I know because I do this too how hard it really can be trying to balance the white and the blue. Great clouds, were those stenciled?

  • thanks! yep, stenciled clouds

  • ur a beast that was kewl!!

  • I would love to know what you think of my newest video, please reply your stuff is great. Also i would like to know if you did anything to that canvas before you sprayed on it, how did it not soak up so much paint? thanks

  • they should put your face on money, your amazing, make me one please ::D

  • Hahaha, thanks.

  • the mountain looks round but its really good

  • amazing but it doesnt show how u did the clouds!!!

    still pretty awesome!!

  • thanks! :)

and it shows a clip of how the clouds are painted from 6:17 to 6:50.

    i should've showed more though. thanks again! : )

  • thats really cool. one question though; what do you paint on? Is it like posterboard or sometin

  • thanks. yeah, i usually paint on posterboard, but this is canvas that i prepped.

  • damn thats ill

  • thanks :)

  • ur sick man very nice

  • the difference between him and other spray painters is that he takes the time to like slowly smudge with newspaper rather than having those wierd mountain looking ones, where its made by making one quick swipe with the glossy magazine. it looks fantastic

  • thanks so much for such a thoughtful comment. I really appreciate it. :)

  • also, you have a great eye for art and technique. :D

  • that is amazing wonderful job it looks soooo cool

  • thanks so much! :)

  • your welcome u have a serious gift

  • If you think that success is always guarantited, you are a stupid.

  • that comment was a waste of time.

  • and you my friend, by making such an idiotic comment, are an ass

  • succes is always guarneteed..just depends on whose looking at it, thats why art is one of the mosr simplest yet most difficult forms of expression..

  • What was that fire around 4:40

  • it was to speed up the drying process

  • you shuold use poster board

  • i do.

  • wat are u useing to liek smudge it so it looks like a mountain??

  • newspaper

  • dude from a the distance from the camera to the painting it looks realestic

  • nice dude. one thing though...those rays of sunlight. i don't think it's possible to see that around the tops of moutains.

  • Very Cool. I wanna see how you made the clouds though.

  • thanks! :) i show my way of making the clouds though. go to about 6:40 ish. :D

    thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Thanks for pointing that out, originally i thought it was a straight edge.

Keep posting videos, I'll keep watching *clicks subscibe*

  • sweet thanks! more coming soon. promise! :)

  • AWESOME YOU ROCK!!!

  • you rook!!!!!!!!

  • cool

  • dude! I love to watch these type of paintings! I love the way you made the rays of sunlight. It was pretty rad! 5/5

  • nice video!

  • Nice painting.. but where did the clouds come from...?

  • hawaii boi

    Dats nice

braddah neva had dis in hawaii so

you use clear paint after done or

I forget I use to do dat

  • what a bull shit!

  • wait a minute, you had nothing better to do than watch a 7 and a half minute video, then also take the time to write a comment, just so you could be rude? someone has a life.

  • Totally. xD

  • them other guys dont know what they are talking about...poster board is what you need...you CAN paint just as easy on canvas....i do it all the time...you can paint on canvas just as easy as you can on poster board...and ill make a fool of the people that say you cant. i havent seen you beside me when i paint...want to see pictures??? so pls dont call me a liar if you have no idea what you are talking about ;)

  • JESUS CHRIST

  • Nicely done, But I would make another one or two of them cloud thingies (I really don't know what to call them) just to make it a little more organic and not so repetitive. But still, nice spray art you have there.

  • are you just using regular canvas? or is there a special canvas that works better with spray paint? ive tried the same thing as you but i find my paint soaking into the canvas, and its messing up my painting

  • you need gloss board or paper

  • Man that is just great! dude, your a real artist.

  • i use spray allot and those videos have given me lots of ideas thanks:]

  • that's awsome mate. keep doing it. you have a real talent......

    benrabine@yahoo(dot)com

  • Wauw, That's a really good piece of work!

    You'r really good :D!

I'm beginning to make spray art my self, but i'm not very good ^^.

    Got any good advises ?

    Thanks, Creepy.

  • Thank you!

No tips really, get a good set of pallette knives, and make sure you don't mix too many brands of paint.

  • Hay how did you do that oh and by the way i wount have wached this unless you had a nickle back and maby 3 dooors down song on it

  • Is that a compliment or a diss? haha

  • nice work bro..do u do any graffiti art?

  • no, not really. stenciling and pop art stuff, yeah, but not tagging.

  • dude this painting rocks, i've never seen anything like that before, you should do tutorial videos

  • how did you make the stencil for the clouds because that is awsome

  • thanks so much! i've thought about making some tutorial vids, maybe once i get more viewers i'll mix some in.

  • dude you are a master at spray paint art!!! most people only make just regular space which is still cool but u shook it up man. mind telin me ho u made the trees in the forground

  • thanks so much! for the tree, i took a magazine sheet and rolled it into a funnel shape, then poured on the black paint and scratched in highlights with a butter knife. then, for the leaves i just used regular sponge. hope that helps a little.

  • Beautiful work! I don't understand how you did clouds, but the effect was great.

  • Thanks a ton! For the rays of light, I tipped the paint can upside down and it left little "streaks". Then I cut out a few different stencils in the basic shape of clouds, then spray colors to give them shading. =]

  • dude that was amazing you should be a artist one day

  • hopefully....

    =D thank you!

  • =O

wow! dat wuz so gud! i cud neva do dat! dude, ur like so cool! =D

  • haha, thanks dude! =]

  • you didnt do that

    i need proof

    lol jk freakin amazing

  • THats fucking awesome dude!!! You are amazing!

  • thanks man! this one's from a few months back. there's some newer better ones in my profile.

  • fake lol jk good job

  • hahah nope it's all real!

    haha thanks.

  • Hey! Thats very good to be on canvas like that. I paint some too. Loved the video I just wanted to see how you did the clouds and trees. Oh, and Kirbstomp69. If that is amateur, then whatever you do better be picasso caliber! Lets see it!!

  • Well thanks a ton, for the comment and the compliments! =D

  • pretty sweet but it was very amateur kinda shit

  • Do you paint? Lets see some of your work.

  • Very good job ! I spray paint too, but have a hard time finding the right paper. I use strathmore 300 series medium. What brand and model do you use for best results and where can I find it ?

  • Thanks, uh, the paper I use doesn't really have a brand. It just has to be glossy posterboard, and I use the cheapest thing from either walmart or michaels. Hope that helps.

  • holy fuck!! **** five stars *

  • hahaha thank you!

  • dude i know nothing about painting but that was one of the best things i have ever seen!

  • thank you!

  • Wow....wow thats all I can say, I loved the sun rays coming from the sky, allot of detail, well done!

  • Thanks a ton!

  • the sky looked incredible, however i thought more detail on the mountains would make it better

  • thanks. yeah, there actually was quite a bit of detail, but the canvas really sort of absorbed a lot of it.

  • @XDben try spraying the canvas with a bunch of clear coat paint first or just use foam core poster board

  • awesome dude, love it

  • should have just done a base coat of white a couple ours before painting wouldve solved the soaking problem. still i nice job tho.

  • should have just done a base coat of white a couple ours before painting wouldve solved the soaking problem. still i nice job tho.

  • yup, or clear coat. that's what i do now when i paint on canvas. thanks!

  • would you mind pinting my xbox 360 case?

  • i could deffinately do that. :)

  • dude thats rad teach me how to do that

  • hah, thanks. do you go to my school?

  • from spray paint thats fucken crazy dude u rock

  • thanks! more coming soon.

    peace

  • Err.. I wouldn't use canvas with spray paint, that's for acrylic, oil, all that stuff. It's so the paint has something to stick to when it comes of the brush. If you want something with a professional feel for spray paint, I suggest foam board, I use it for my paintings. It's $2.89 for a 30"x20" sheet at walmart. :]

  • i know, ive been painting for about 8 months now. that;s what i usually paint on but wanted to try something new. thanks anyway though! =]

  • were can you learn to do dat?

  • i pretty much taught myself....

    just mess with the paint

but there are also vids here on youtube to get you started. hope that helps

  • WOW! You have extreme talent - keep it up. What you did is quite hard to do for a lot of people. Beautiful!

  • thanks!

  • hes lying he has no dick

  • shit sorry about these comments, i left my youtube logged on at a friends house

  • haha ya fag

  • Dude. I have really watched alot of these spray paint clips. Your mountain technic is flawless. Great job

  • thanks! there's more in my profile.

  • what is ur myspace?

  • oh sorry, meant to put that in the description. my url is myspace. c o m / hey_its_ben (take out the spaces but leave the slash and underscores.) i'm not sure if i have it on private or not, so could you send me a message on myspace telling me whether it is or not?just put crzyboutgreen in the subject or something and i'll know who it is. thanks!
