  • Mashallah im a muslim and im happy the brother chose the path to the one and only God whether it be Islam or Sikhism or any other monotheistic religion. Respect to the fellow Sikhs out there. -peace

  • i live in uk i see sikh people all the time but we never really integrate i went to pakistan the shrine of baba fareed and i was shocked to see sikh people walking around there and giving the muslims salaams and the muslims replying satsriakaal if thats how you spell then i started to look into the sikh religion and thats when i realised that the sikh people believe in our babas its a good feeling i get inside me when i see sikh people now

  • Enough respect to my black brother, I know a black sikh girl and she is sometimes more of a strict sikh then other girls I know and she teaches my daughter Gatka a form of Sikh martial arts.

  • I am amazed at this. I live in the UK, plenty of Sikhs here, but I have never met anyone who converted or is not of Indian origin.

  • Bollaaaaaaaa----sooooo-nnnaaaaaa----------haaaaa! SAAAAAA-SIIIIIIII---RRRRRRIIIAAA-KALLLLLL! I love being a sikh I would never trade my religion fo anything in the world ^^

  • great ...simply proud to be a SIKH..

  • proud to be a sikh!!!!!!!!!!:D

  • Good on him!

  • i'm a Hindu but i proud in Sikhism.

  • One Universal Love.

  • So Proud to be a Sikhi!

  • very impressive!!! very proud indeed....how great to see someone not from this soil following Sikhism to the core...and how sad to see the interviewer with the minimum of the kesh ( beard)

  • This proves that religion don't count on how you look and where you come from.

  • This proves that religion don't count on how you look and where you come from.

  • Whoop whoop for Tyrone Singh!

  • hats off to you brother

  • Im BNP member i admire sikths the ones ive met are decent law abideing religion. Its the muslims with there barbaric religion thats ruining britain and making everyone feel as though islam is being forced onto our people from all walks of life. Sikths can live by christians and jews hindus and so on ,why cant the muslims be as peaceful?. If labour stay in msulims will run this country shahid malik is striveing for that and then comes saria and god knows what else we will be suppresed! forever.

  • These guys are like big brothers to the entire World! I salute from my deepest heart for the purity and nobility of the religion and to these "Warriors of God". Indian Military wouldn't be the same without you brothers!!!

  • I am Proud to be a Sikh

  • Much respect to this brother!

  • i`m a hindu and i totally respect every sikh on the planet. they`re just cool and inter-mingle so well with everyone, besides they are so tolerant really. i wish i had a lot of sikh friends to talk with. as a hindu, i`d definitely support sikhs.

  • a lot of people dont know about sikhi but if we spread it then more westerners will embrace it

  • I am Hindu and I really appreciate Sikhism..you guys are brave and courageous. Sikh people has history written in golden words and I am proud that my wife though being brahmin was part GuruDwara day to day function.

  • he has chosen the right path in life.....sikh 4 life.

  • When I was young I was made fun of in the Gurudwara Sahib as a kid of 10-11 years by a clean shaven person.

    Can you actually believe it....?

    Wish I had been braver....

  • Jai guru Gobind Singh

  • WOW HE LOOKS LIKE A PROPER SIKH LION :p

  • BLADE RUNNERS! :)

Sikhs are cool, and they fight evil doers

  • Wow I'm born Sikh but I have to say I have a lot of respect for people like this man he's more Sikh than I will ever be.

  • It takes a brave person to be a Sikh even a Indian to be a Sikh in the Western world. Unlike India/Punjab its not a common thing to see Sikhs and I have seen my own Sikh friends being made funny for their own religion,I always though they were brave for going through it almost every day..

  • woow i ve seen many blacks nd whiote sikhs in america they r one of em cuz of harbhajan singh yogi they all became sikhs because he taught yoga in west for many years

  • Out of 2125 Indians killed in the atrocities by the British, 1550 (73%) were Sikhs.

Out of 2646 Indians deported for life to the Andaman Islands (where the British exiled political and hardened criminals) 2147 (80%) were Sikhs.

Out of 127 Indians sent to the gallows, 92 (80%) were Sikhs.

At Jalliawalla Bagh out of the 1302 men, women and children slaughtered, 799 (61%) were Sikhs.

Out of 121 persons executed during the freedom struggle, 73 (60%) were Sikhs.

  • Although im Sikh, im am also a human being 1st and foremost!

However one thing that makes me proud that i was born into the religion of Sikhism is simply because it was fundamently created to protect others against injustiice! (The Warrior Race) Which is a why it is such a noble religion and one i am proud to be apart of!

  • wjkwjkf.nice n very inspirational video.congrats siri chand ji god blessed you with his grace.may guru grant you chardi kala always.keep it up.shame for the person taking interview.learn somthing.......

  • this gent is a sikh "soul" brother.

  • Paji! This is mind blowing. Balle Balle

  • Great..

  • tht was wow

  • can someone please recommend a documentary (in ENGLISH) on the Skhs?

  • I want 2 learn more about being a sikh...

  • We are all connected in this world only man divides. Peace and Love. Thanks for posting!!!

  • whats so amazing about a African Sikh?

there is nothing wrong with that and i`ve seen loads of African Sikhs anyway

  • Serve humanity, spread Sikhism!

  • i am from a punjabi (potohari, straight from the pind) muslim family and wish i had been born a sikh. they seem to have much more love and appreciation from their culture and tolerance than others than my people have.

  • @liviti there is no reason why you cannot do what you feel is right, & behave in a manner that you admire in Sikhs. Is it that muslims cannot be good people? You would contribute greatly to changing the face of your own religion by changing your behavior. It is not about what you call your god or how you pray. It is all about how you treat those who are different from you, treating all with love & respect.

  • Im Muslim But We Have Loads Of Sikh && Indian Friends. They Are All Very Good People! I Must Say The Religion Thing Has Never Been A Problem We All Get Along Like One. And Sikh's Have The Best Party's :) Loadsa Love For My Sikh Brothers && Sisters :)

  • this videos is really nice but see the paradox the sikh taking the interview has shaven his beard and he is taking the interview of a homie sikh who has a proper beards so punjab de sikho dont embaras sikhs especially the jatts who r more proud to be jatts rather than sikhs

  • I am Muslim too and I find this quite fascinating .

  • wen i saw dis video..i felt so proud of being a sikh...not bcoz dat even whites n blacks r turning into sikhs...its bcoz no1 can tell which sikh is a white or which 1 is punjabi n black 1...they all look same..now i believe dat dis is y god gave us facial hair to make us look all alike..jus imagine if every1 was a sikh...dere wud b no colour discriminations...or any kinda criticism...every1 wud live in love...

  • Im happy for you all, Im a very open minded person and to me if it helps you to be a good person that Im for it. PEACE!

  • i love the sikhs.

i wish i knew what he was saying

  • singh is king

  • I am a punjabi but not a sikh, but must tell you of how fantastic Sikh people are. My wife and I went to see the New Guru Dwara in Bedford for its Architectural beauty, Truly it is a beatiful building. But more impressive was the sikh people's attitude to us - my wife and I both Punjabi Muslims -and we were welcomed graciously, with love and RESPECT. I will never forget thaty experience. So I say Bolo Soni Soni Haal, Sasriya Kaal. Wahay Guru da Khalsa, Wahay Guru di Fateh!

  • wah that is amazing. (I'm a Muslim but find this outstanding)

  • Singh is King

  • I'm an Englishman and an atheist who is currently learning Panjabi because of the effect that Sikh people in my area have had upon me. I find the Sikh culture admirable and the Sikh people that I have been around to be very worthy of the highest praise.

  • you don't have to be an athiest because you don't agree with the Bible

Sikhism is probably the only relgion which has no conflict with science, the Guru Granth Sahib describes things like Evolution, the Big Bang, and the Atomic theory hundreds of years before they were discovered

  • KHALSA WILL SUCCEED!!

  • now thats a brotha i can trust he is straight up punjabi this makes me proud to be a sikh to know that gore and kale are becoming sikhs it shows that people understand our religion

  • dhan guru nanak!

  • proud of you mate...wjkk wjkf

  • wjkk wjkf Thankyou for uploading :)

  • sikh power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Iam from the Fiji Islands and wow a black man sikh! This should teach us a lesson as a whole. We have just over a thousand sikh in fiji but still a new religion to us even today, but fiji people are mostly Christians, Hindus and Muslims. Malekum Salaam Ji

  • im proud to be sikh!

  • this video makes any sikh proud becoz it is very rare sighting that a non-indian person has become sikh. it makes me proud too. Sikhs should preach all over the world. becoz sikhism is not just for punjabi's. may be our teachings are mostly limited to india but not universal. but i wonder why we are limited to just punjab.

  • this video really makes proud of being a sikh.

  • cool.......im sikh btw

  • Respect!!!

  • Nice to see Sikhs around the world!

  • mad respect styll!

  • wow thats really cool to see...and rare... i love seeing things like this.

  • proud to be a sikh

  • mad respect. yeah we need to it step up, it's kinda shameful for us sikhs, since he is orthodox sikh, and most modern sikh children are doing the things our gurus told us not to do, but all in all crazy vid

  • is it true that its a sin for the sikhs to drink alcohol

  • Yes all intoxicants are prohibated but punjabi/indian culturally people do things outside the Sikh religion.

  • thanks a lot for answering my question on sikhism i need to be in touch with people like u who can talk about sikhism and what it is and tell people so that they understand u guys knowledge is power

  • this video really makes proud of being a sikh.. but at the same time there is a matter of ashamed which i dont know ppl wud hv noticed or not.. the guy who wz taking the interview hzz cut his beard.. we actually need 2 take lessons from this..

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa.. Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh..

    WAHE GURU JI DA KHALSA

    WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH

    WAHE GURU JI DA KHALSA

    WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH

  • yh man

  • An example to us all!

  • wow....respect!

  • Khalistan Zindabad!

  • SIKHS IMPORTANT: Look on my channel for a link to an article which confirms the Indian government are poisoning the water flowing to the farms of Punjab resulting in our children being born with leukemia and deformities. Their genocide against us hasn't ended yet. OPEN YOUR EYES AND FIGHT FOR JUSTICE!

  • I think it's great finding out I have so many Sikh brothers and sisters from different backgrounds.

  • He's more religious then 50% of sikhs today

  • im a muslim with african origins and i am learning hindi. i like indian culture and respect religions from there etc.. sikhs are fine with me i do not discriminate

  • i m so happy to see that but at the same time i m little upset because i think the interviewer should be sikh toooooooooooooooooooo

  • im just wondering.. and this is a legit question.

how does he comb his hair? black ppl have mad curly hair..

  • I am an African American and I'm currently in the process of converting to Sikhism. Sri Chand Singh Ji gives me great hope and encouragment. I'm glad to see fellow brothers and sisters in the faith.

    Waheguru ji ka Khalsa

  • Today realized how much poor I am. A prayer to almighty Guruji to help me. I wanna like him. Thanks regards and Guru Fateh to all.

  • Man i am proud of him he has kept his sikhi sidan and we should learn from them cuz ppl in punjab are going away from there culture and sikhi

  • My brother-in-law is also African American, marrying into our Sikh family. Nicest, kindest dude in the world.

  • nice to see african american sikhs!!

  • Interesting!

  • This guy is a true Gursikh.

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh.

  • Respect!

  • Does the cut no hair rule apply to girls as well??

  • Yep, but nowadays many girls, especially living in the UK, have no respect for their religion, and choose to cut their hair. :(

Luckily my family has been religious, my mother does not cut hers, neither does my father or me and my brothers.

  • Yes it does.

All rules that apply to men also apply to women in Sikhism and vice versa

  • yes

  • Yes it applies to all baptized sikhs...However some females still do there eybrows and what not...

  • yes, hair is sacred - its your mane.

  • ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ

  • This is my cousin!

  • big ups to the fam!!!

  • wen was the last time you heard a african man say profoundly "act universally kind, use kindness in every situation, dont discriminate weather its agaimnst a person religion, culture or skin colour"

the ideal sikh is a saint soldier- first a saint- (believeing in sprituality, justice freedom equality) then a soldier, - ready to fight for the rights of all people regardless of religion or demographics.

Chand singh might have the oppertunity to make life better for all people

    truth justice

  • Well, I hear African men say this all the time. He isn't the only good brother out there, you know...

  • the world is not ready for sikhism.

sikhs believe all humans are equal regardless of religion, gender or race.

sikhism is not a missionary religion with a target to convert the world.

sikhs have a very transparent nature- they openy state and believe that all humans as equal.

sikhs are not hippies, the ideal sikh is a saint soldier and fights for the rights of all people

  • thank you mann sikhs need to know this more man, dont be angry at muslims, prove your better by accpeting them as equal just like how guru nanake proved to us the day he read the muslim book

  • i agree with u 100%, those ppl that discriminate aren't really sIkh. They just think they are because they're born into the Indian culture but they should realize they're born into the CULTURE not the RELIGION. Religion has to be accepted and then they can become sikh. They just say they're sikh and say dumb shit like "khalistan" and make every other sikh look bad.

  • exactly...i second this...

  • +1...

  • god bless u....

  • shame on us clean shaven

    i second that

  • I know him and his twin brother and parents and I can tell you that they are such beautiful people. They are all EXCELLENT kirtan musicians and kind and uplifting and intelligent.

  • Siri Chand Singh ji is role model for whole Sikh Youth. We are proud of you Bro..

  • great personality sikh and may waheguroo give shri chand singh ji good health and energy and happiness in his life.

    waheguroo ji ka khalsa

    waheguroo ji ki fateh

  • Waheguru Jee Ka Khalsa||Waheguru Jee Kee Fateh||

Only Guru Blessings can make that much strong Sikh.

  • wow, thas pretty cool

  • man chad singh you are a very lucky man

  • shame on us clean shaven

  • DaReturnofSinghRule2:

I'm a white Singh. Not born into a Sikh family and I have found Sikhism myself. I don't shave, and neither should you. You should be ashamed of yourself.

  • Sikhism isnt about shaving or not!

  • it is indeed if you've taken amrit. It's about following the will of God.

Are you saying that Guru Gobind Singh was wrong when he told us in 1699 to not cut kesh?

  • a beard or a turban doesn't make you a sikh. A true Gursikh is one who does good karm(action) and follows his Satguru. God Bless

  • You should value moral character and good deeds more then shaving bodily hair.

  • Dude that statement is incorrect, if you narrate like that maybe ur not a sikh.

Waheguru is forgiving and kind, he doesnt mind if we shave.

However as our guru ji said we shouldnt shave and keep gods prescious gifts.

Shaving wont stop you from breaking the cycle of reincarnation.

We all have our personal relationship with waheguru ji

and no one should narrate what should be done to another.

  • We honor god with our mind and body. We show that we do not heed to public opinion, but rather heed to only him. His love is what we yearn for, and love for all of humanity regardless of race, gender, and religion; for all are doors to the Lord himself. Sikhism saying all religions are equal and all are pathways to God is what makes this religion so unique. Even those that come from the most Maya world are astounded and abide by Sikhism. I had so many questions when I was young, Gurbani answered
