@alonsomaldonado mate if your watching aljazeera, syria was done 10 months ago.. but in reality, the reigime aint going no where.. opinions from wahabis in america and other countries dont count for the true opinions in syria.. VIVA BASHAR!
@chucky362 The truth is, there is enough critical mass inside Syria to make the ultimate sacrifice for a free Syria. Is time for Al Assad incompetent leadership to be changed for the benefit of all decent Syrian people. Is time to give a chance to someone more competent to lead Syria. Someone capable to transform Syria in to a modern, just, free society and joint the rest of the develop nations. Bashar is a failure.
@alonsomaldonado hes not going anywhere, at least when you get sick in syria, the govt pays for your health not like america.. he issued a pension for the unemployed last year.. he gives free diesle feul for all syrian citizens to keep warm in the winter. syria is not america, the people dont want it to be america. it is based on culture and not sex like america. so before you talk, go to live in syria and youll see the beauty of a non americanised country. america is a failure
@chucky362 Isn't about America. Assad is going out even with VETO from Russia and China.
Once the civil war has started there is no stoping it. Specially not with violence.
All Assad had to do, was create the state institutions to set a political battle so instead of lives lost, only votes lost, reputations lost & the capacity to change Assad if he loses the elections...PEACEFULLY...Assad does not see this because a)Born to a dictator b)he does not understands the modern needs of Syria's people.
@alonsomaldonado you know you just proved the perfect ignorant opinionated westerner. The only difference in regards to modernaty in comparison to the west, is the open sexual references in the west. syrian culture is not based on the western idea of sexual desires. its based on religous and social aspects. They have hospitals, LCD screens, shopping centres. There are less sick people in syria then there are in america. So we love our president, and he will serve us.
@chucky362 You should love our State, Syria. Not the government of Assad as you do. Assad has done wrong for many people and they are not happy. Assad rather kill his own people to keep power, than to create a electoral council for a develop country. Is time to give a chance to someone more competent to lead Syria in to the future. Someone capable to transform Syria in to a modern, just, free society and joint the rest of the develop nations. Bashar is a failure in that respect.
@alonsomaldonado what dont you understand, syria is already free and modern. IT JUST DOES NOT HAVE THE COLONIAL VALUES THAT GIVE WESTERNERS A MASSIVE PROFIT FROM THEIR COPERATIONS AND ALSO DOES NOT HAVE ANY OPEN SEXUAL REFERENCES. if you call that modern and free to have sexual symbols in the public, and a mcdonalds in every second street. then FUCK modernity. Syria is happy with the government and president. Just stick to obama and keep your opinion to yourself
@chucky362 No doubt syria's revolt is Assad responsibility.Stop comparing to USA.Its Assad's incompetence that has this mess rolling.Like any other dictator in history holding to power by killing his own people. It has never worked,& it will not work this time either, the rebellion has started and it will not end till there is a change, for better or for worst. No doubt the killings reflect Assad incompetence to manage Syria.Russia and China just want to get paid for what they loaned Assad.

@FUCKUH8ERS face it, you are short sited with regards to Syria's future. Is all about justice and freedom for the Syria's people. Is not about imaginary external influences. Syria deserves to have a decent and competent government.
The pressure on the Arab League from bankrupt British and American interests must be immense. Last check, though, Russia was not part of the Arab League.
I live in UK and I would support totally military intervention in syria, assad has committed to many crimes against humanity and needs to be removed by force.
@ZorkFrobozz Remain free? Are you talking about Assad regime? Because ordinary syrians arent free. They have to put up with the Assad's authocracy. Turmoil in Syria started because syrians wanted change. People who see US boogeyman everywhere cant understand it. Their mindset: syrians want to topple dictator and establish democracy? WTH! Another proof of US, zionists and banking conglomerates agenda to establish new world order. Conspiracy junkies.
Everyone.. who wants to know the truth of whats happening in Syria.. go to the youtube channel **** SyriaTruthNetworkEN *** real evidence.. real videos of how the media is manipulating the information to accuse ASSAD of the crimes in the country also shows videos of terrorist caught in camera atacking protesters..
Democracy by itself isn't a silver bullet. Secularism + Democracy is.
Opposition's Solution = Islamic Democracy
Assad's Solution = Secular Democracy
If the opposition wins radical Islam wins (Muslims backed by Saudi/Qatari money). They will adopt a sharia based constitution and Christians/moderates/Shiites/non religious will suffer. A weak "lets appease Israel/West" culture will take over
As ironic as it sounds Assad needs to win if the Syrians want Secular Democracy and a free society.
I'm Iranian American and while I hope we become more liberal someday, I don't want it to ruin our country or cost us our independence.
The opposition should sit down and negotiate a solution with Assad. They are in a position of strength and have leverage.
What they don't understand that by fighting longer they're only ruining their country. Ruined counties go into debt and indebted countries lose their independence.
@ZorkFrobozz The reason of russia&china to have loyalty to al assad is because of the great amount of money his administration borrowed from this countries. before any intervention of the UN in syria, it would be necessary to find an agreement with china and russia were the dues of syria would be honored to some extend or give a type of guarantee. then the the UN would be able to free syria with out the veto. most people in the world would agree to be a reasonable undertaking for a free syria.

I'm not from that region but I can tell this case is much tougher than u expect !!
the russians have mentioned it already, if syria gets attacked they'll step up against any organization and they'll probably get involved ..
Muslims at there finest bending other Muslims over and fucking them where it hurts makes me sick some of the crap they say that they dont even follow themselves.
@blackstars56 Why are 99% of Muslims so backwards like yourself and when did Islam become a race? And how did you know im not Black or a Muslim myself? retard
puppet show to appease their masters shadow government which rules this earth...wouldn't surprise me Assad is in on the act to save himself from begin hanged on live TV like Saddam.
@KerouacandRimbaud yh support..im not talkin about korea u dumb shit..those rebels are just mayB 5% of syria..just look what happend to libiya.. after gadafis death western countries got in and they are robbin there oil.. syrian ppl wont lets this happen..btw syria has some powerfull allies like russia and iran so ;)
@0098xxx The reason I mentioned N.K. is because their situation is an extreme case of Syria. Most citizens may claim "support" for the regime, but in reality they hate it as much as the revolutionaries. The American Revolution was a minority movement too. All revolutions are. Except peasant revolutions.
@0098xxx I never said they did whole-heartedly support the government. I said they "supported" it out of fear. Do you know what happens to dissidents in Syria? Prison. Dissidents in North Korea? Death.
@0098xxx the reason of russia & china to have loyalty to al assad is because of the great amount of money his administration has borrowed from this countries. before any intervention of the UN in syria, it would be necessary to find an agreement with china and russia were the dues of syria would be honored to some extend or give a type of guarantee. then the UN would be able to free syria with out the veto. most people in the world would agree to be a reasonable undertaking for a free syria.
@0098xxx In many cases you could be right but Assad is a dictator that has done nothing for his country. How would you feel if your family and friends were starving while the government steals billions and completely ignores you? I would be pretty mad
@Villeroi8 no i woudnt look man ive done my home work i no what im talking about..trust me when i say most ppl in syria do support assad even the christians in syria support assad ..cuz they are respected by assad.. they the syrian christians fear whats comin after assad it might be a crazy muslim leader who dont give a fuck about chrstians it might be some pro western puppet then the syrian ppl will suver.. do u really think that libiyaan ppl are going to live happy after gadafis death??
@Villeroi8 They said the same shit to gaddafi ? he made his people suffer and treated his people like shit in which case it wasn't true dude , don't fall for that trap and have a open mind... if Assad was really a bad ass , trust me with people power they can out root Assad in no time, it doesn't take nearly year to get rid of a dictator.
@0098xxx the arab spring has made it impossible for bashar al assad to cover the sun with one finger. Internet cellphones with cameras, and social media have made the oppressed well informed of the atrocities of the regimen in syria against their own people and exposed the whole arab nation to what a free society is like. syrians are great people and deserve to be free as the rest of us.
I want to see what happened to gaddafi and saddam to happen to assad as he commited crimes against humanity, get troops in and stop the syrian government violence.
The Arab league is under control of the US $ , let them ask the USA to pay for their oil in Chinese yuan , € or gold and see what happens to them.
Bye bye Arab League , same will happen to you as what happened to Muammar Gaddafi and Saddam Hussein , same reason why the USA is after Iran , it has nothing to do with foreign threat but everything to do with controlling the $.
@planet4allofus What good did Gaddafi and Hussein offer to the world? There's no such thing as good tyrant. Sure, the US shouldn't have invaded Iraq, but at least there's one less dictator in the world; and with Mubarek and Gaddafi, that's two more. Liberty no matter the cost.
@KerouacandRimbaud True , but than again , is there any Muslim country that is under democratic rule ?
Pardon my ignorance but in any Muslim ruled country there is no tolerance of any other view or religion , which , in my mind , makes it a dictatorship.
@planet4allofus As someone that has lived in a muslim country id just like to make a correction in regards to your comment about religious tolerance. There is wide religious tolerance in muslim countries in general. There are some fringe group as in any society (see KKK for a western example). but for the most part the population is tolerant of other religions and lives together with few problems. I speak from first hand experience. There is a bit of a government dictatorship problem tho
@planet4allofus Indonesia has made great strides towards religious freedom; as have Oman and the United Arab Emirates. Democracy, however, I'm not so sure about.
Gotta love the Saudi Arabians telling the Syrians that they mistreat their people..... because the Saudi's are so famous for giving its people lots of freedom of expression be it political or religious.. especially women they got it great!
The hypocrisy throughout the Arab League is a joke... they ALL suppress their own people to maintain power and control societies. Whilst I don't agree with the Syrian government they should at least call 'BULLSHIT' on the rest of them.
lol a bunch of dictators demanding another dictator steps down....and presumably they'd support a more pro-Western dictator then taking over. Get stuffed you disgusting Saudi/Gulf State tyrants!
This dictator (his dead father) were the most murderous of the other fat and useless dictators. Search and read about the massacre in Hama Syria where over 30,000 Syrians were massacred, ordered by Bashar Asad's father, Hafidh Asad.
The crimes against humanity of the fascist Zionists evil who rule the west does not need much introduction. I was comparing Asad and his dead Dad to the other fat dictators. We might argue that the Saudis and the Khalij had a guilty hand in helping the Zionist led west in killing of over 1 million Iraqis and others. All the dictators selfish and evil - period. They would sacrifice the whole of mankind to stay in power.
@planet4allofus Iraq is a free nation now, it cost the iraqis dearly. now they are trying to build a free nation. you should have some respect for their freedom.
@umzarsenal simple, bashar is trying to force on the syrian people a regime that is not accepted by many. obviously there aren't the institutions in place to be able to manage this discontent in a political arena. the violence is a symptom not the problem. al assad seems not to realize it, & is trying to fight with violence the discontent, a typical dictatorship response.
@myyou1 so its about numbers? ur argument is the most ignorant and absolutely idiotic one to make. a murderer is a murderer. evil is evil u dont range it based on numbers. ur sense is absolutely out of its place and this is not about assad is a good leader or not. its about how the gulf states r nothing but puppets to israel and the west and they r just as bad! i dont defend any of them. all i know is all these nations r failures cuz none of them stands against israel anymore. get it....
@myyou1 yes because if its told by the western news media must be true? Americans killed 1million irakis in their invasion..majority civilians.. with many womes and childrens. i guess if the kills are done by americans then its not a criminal act but patriotism ? or how about the nuclear bombs dropped on Japan that killed 300,0000 majority civilians? uhh ohh.. the list is very long my friend. British also have done alot of crimes.. most empirial powers have their hands dirty.
@myyou1 you understand though that if Assad leaves, there will be a US/Saudi puppet put in and then the Israelis are free to attack Lebanon and Iran maybe as well. Can you see the big picture?
Yes I do the possible ramifications. Here is the weakness of such argument which is also used by the dictators like Mubarak of Egypt and Bashar Asad -- pure self-serving crap. If that was the concern, the now dead Hafidh asad joined the Zionist led Army in attacking and destroying Iraq (fellow Arab Bathist ruler). Of course the rest of the fat Arab dictators were also there. The Syrian people like the egyptian people will not tollerate the return of dicators and Zionist slaves
@ivangrozny27 i love everyword u said. and i have to add that with everything that happened with the arab spring, it is all meaningless. unless we get nations that call for their power back and that can only happen if they make sure that they dont stand with israel or the west. these nations have to make their own decision and not be israel's puppets.
the gulf states in the arab league use it as a platform to publicly condemn israel just before they pick up the phone and call tel-aviv to scheme behind their neighbors with their zionist friends.
I agree remove assad he is indeed a dictator who sees our brothers and sisters as his slaves..while he beleives himself a king..as did mubarak and gaddafi..but also brothers and sisters know that the west was his best friend as they were with mubarak and gaddafi until they NOWwish for them to be removed for there next step in there plan...inshallah he is removed and inshallah there plans shall fail in there face and what they think to be there plan..shall turn into there nightmare...inshallah

@KerouacandRimbaud yh support..im not talkin about korea u dumb shit..those rebels are just mayB 5% of syria..just look what happend to libiya.. after gadafis death western countries got in and they are robbin there oil.. syrian ppl wont lets this happen..btw syria has some powerfull allies like russia and iran so ;)
0098xxx 1 month ago
@0098xxx The reason I mentioned N.K. is because their situation is an extreme case of Syria. Most citizens may claim "support" for the regime, but in reality they hate it as much as the revolutionaries. The American Revolution was a minority movement too. All revolutions are. Except peasant revolutions.

@KerouacandRimbaud thats not a fact.. thats ur oppinion..do u live in nk?? if not then how can u say ppl dont support there leader????
0098xxx 1 month ago

The Arab league is under control of the US $ , let them ask the USA to pay for their oil in Chinese yuan , € or gold and see what happens to them.
Bye bye Arab League , same will happen to you as what happened to Muammar Gaddafi and Saddam Hussein , same reason why the USA is after Iran , it has nothing to do with foreign threat but everything to do with controlling the $.
planet4allofus 1 month ago 2
@planet4allofus I believe you are entirely correct.
mookins45 1 month ago
@planet4allofus What good did Gaddafi and Hussein offer to the world? There's no such thing as good tyrant. Sure, the US shouldn't have invaded Iraq, but at least there's one less dictator in the world; and with Mubarek and Gaddafi, that's two more. Liberty no matter the cost.
KerouacandRimbaud 1 month ago
@KerouacandRimbaud True , but than again , is there any Muslim country that is under democratic rule ?
Pardon my ignorance but in any Muslim ruled country there is no tolerance of any other view or religion , which , in my mind , makes it a dictatorship.
planet4allofus 1 month ago
@planet4allofus As someone that has lived in a muslim country id just like to make a correction in regards to your comment about religious tolerance. There is wide religious tolerance in muslim countries in general. There are some fringe group as in any society (see KKK for a western example). but for the most part the population is tolerant of other religions and lives together with few problems. I speak from first hand experience. There is a bit of a government dictatorship problem tho

This dictator (his dead father) were the most murderous of the other fat and useless dictators. Search and read about the massacre in Hama Syria where over 30,000 Syrians were massacred, ordered by Bashar Asad's father, Hafidh Asad.
myyou1 1 month ago 14
@myyou1 That's just a drop in the bucket , never mind the killing of over 1 million Iraqis by the USA.

@planet4allofus
Peace!

@myyou1 I agree with you , to me religion in a lot of cases divides people , personally I don't belong to any religious denomination.
I believe in the freedom of all , to live in peace without oppression from anyone .
Do not harm , turn the other cheek , forgive others and forgiveness will be granted to you.
Without this we will be in an eternal war.
Peace to all.

@myyou1 Massacring people when all else fails has ALWAYS been the norm in dictatorial countries when it comes to revolutions.
We all like to blame the Arabs now but the fact is that this tradition first started in Europe during the post-French Revolution period.
It's a shame that the Arab League sits there and does nothing unless the ''West'' intervenes.
Pathetic Arab Leaders sitting on their arse and watching thousands die.
Disgusting.

British also have done alot of crimes.. most empirial powers have their hands dirty.

ivangrozny27 1 month ago
@ivangrozny27
