DAn onorato along with Andy Baechle the Allegheny county Parks director along with the USDA and the state game commison decided that North PArk a park that is 3,010 acres has too many geese. So what did they decide to do? The herded up 272 canadian geese and murdered them! They gassed them! I am so outraged, I walk there every day and dont have a problem with them. Whats next? The ducks the herons, the turtles the fish??? Western PA really does suck and I am embarrased to live here!!!!
To lpcrooks....I walked there everyday! The poop just degrades, washes away, etc. Its just grass, they poop it out before its barely digested. The people are the ones that make a mess. Rotting bait on the picic tables, fishing line, garbage, not to mention the condoms lying around the playground parking lot, etc. Why dont they clean that up? Allegheny Parks dept. is a joke!
