wow i have the demo but me its on multiplayer on steam i have a hd 5770 3gig rams and i have zero lag and i dont have any little bugs but me im not recording any vids but im maxed out on

the reason why they did this is because of the limitations of the console lets face it crysis 2 is a console port im so hopping all of your fucking consoles kepps burning up get a real machine THE PC!!!

This is why Crytek did not intend on making a PC demo because they are working HARD to make the PC experience the best thing possible. I have heard the advance setting will be their and you can play it on extreme(very high) settings. So keep your hopes up and pre-order it.

2.Its still DX9 not dx11 nor dx10, IT SUCKS!!!!

@yagitka but it lets you see how the game plays and will look like cause somethings are still stunning even on this beta glitch version. the only problem i have with it that you cant realy test out the ai cause they are stupid in this beta version even on the hardest settings

@Armgame Ya I've done extensive research, and textures are missing, and it's considered medium. But editing the .cfg in the console causes it to look high. If you compare the screenshots with Crysis 1 and 2 you can see a similarity with the High settings. Also DX10 ya I made a mistake I'll change the title. I thought when I compared Crysis 1 DX10 I saw that Crysis 2 had a similar effect. But either way game looks great!

@117AsainBoy117 When I say 60fps I say on average, and yes I am not bsing. This is an old dev build so there are textures missing in this game. The final build we have to wait when it comes out. All I know it runs a lot better than Crysis 1. I cant' even run 1080p on Crysis 1 without massive frame drops with this card on very high or ultra settings. Remember this is Cry Engine 3, and not Cry Engine 2. Totally different engines. If consoles can play this at 60fps so can an HD 5770.

@MrIhatehax Ya you are right. That's why when it comes to multi-platform games the PC is better . I should have just said if Xbox360, and PS3 can play Crysis 2 than HD 5770 won't have a problem. Since HD 5770 is way more powerful than an Xbox360, and PS3.

@ibuckyi been playing the crysis 2 demo (port from the 360) online on hardcore settings with my hd 5770, before it was overloaded on severs and had connection and wasn't on steam I got 100 fps with hd 5770 (STUPID STEAM GOT MORE ATTENTION TO PEOPLE) and gamespy sucks, laggy as heck.

xbox version for multiplayer

@VincentX202 The actual game runs around 70fps at 1920 x 1080. But YouTube only lets you view it at 30fps.

@Thet3 Yes wow! This actually runs at 60-70fps! Cry Engine 3 is fully optimized at 1080p for mid range cards! Did you also know that YouTube is only viewable at 30fps? I bet you didn't!

@ZeroMemPtr I have a lot of respect for the devs who made this game. That's why I pre-ordered the Nano Suit collectors Edition. Also I even put their MyCrysis link on my video to make it easier for people to know where to buy it. You must have missed that 20 second warning label of the video. Also did you know that the Nano Suit Collectors Edition comes with a cool backpack? You can fit a 17 inch laptop inside it.. I bet you didn't know that you silly person.

hey when you encoded your video in power director what was the final video size? and what would 720p 10 minute video would be sized at

@2mario23 I used the h264AVC preset 1080p bitrate at 15500

1080p 8 mins = 900 megs

I try to cut down my videos to 5 mins. 5 mins will get you around 500-600 megs for 720p and 1080p

The more the bitrate the bigger the size.

@2mario23 Ya well if you want good quality HD on YouTube you need good bitrate. But I think you can try custom H264AVC, and lower the bitrate to 2000 1280 x 720p. It will be 118 megs.

I think YouTube upgraded their video so it looks nicer now.
