We are starting a cardio unit in gym and their grant just allowed them to get these sort of balls. I can't wait to start trying these. I have been wanting to lose weight but it's not any fun :P

@MerkabaStar Hummm...I half agree with you. We shot this video almost 4 years ago. Although I do believe in challenging your back muscles eccentrically through spinal flexion to improve mobility and strength, the explosion of "core" work has proved that many other activities that recruit most muscles in the abs, lower back, and flexors work by being more efficient and can be applied functionally on a daily basis. @ShereenPAZ Well actually one of my clients had the same problem and we were able to make some progress with her loose skin....although it has not totally gone away. Your food is the most important component...eating healthy fats will help the elasticity of your skin more than exercise. Thats still no reason not to exercise :) Be well. Alycia
@EmpowerYourBody I like to eat rice matching with vegetables, and fish. I do eat ice-cream,caramel apple pie, and pecan pie sometimes. Which food is healthy for me to eat? Any idea?
@bruja166 If you are referring to the fact that I dont release my abs when performing the eccentric contraction (or the down) when doing abs...that is correct, I instruct my clients to maintain that contraction as oppossed to releasing it. I find the work to be greater and you are more efficient with your time and energy....afterwards I suggest giving your abs a thorough stretch. Hope that helps. Be well. Alycia

Spinal flexion for ab work is old. You have no choice but to compromise your back during the process.

Well I am not fat,but have a loose skin on my stomach. my tummy is flat but got wrinkles or dimmples. Do you think this excercise will help?

I was told that you must give the abs a stretch when lowering down,but you dont that.Whats the most effective way to do them?
