Does anyone know what film or documentary the footage from when Billy Corgan is talking is taken from? I love when he speaks about Floyd ..really seems like he genuinely loves and respects the group..actually listened in detail to music...thanks for this post, great video
It's quite funny reading the comments! I saw Floyd with Barrett and yes they had a light show like any San Francisco band.. Nothing original! They weren't very good live at that time compared to their records! Syd was the man and later on became a massive band much to my suprise! Great Music doesn't need dope to help it along!
Pink Floyd wrote atleast three masterpieces and had four (if.not five) musicians worthy of anyone's top 10 list for their specialty or instrument in the band. They revolutionized if not introduced lasers, lights, special effects, and props into a live show. They also had many of the best live performances ever and are possibly the best live band. They also revolutionized tne concept album and have some of the best songs ever.
Pink Floyd is like all the greatest bands mixed into one before the beggining of time yet at the same time they have there own style that on one can even compete to.
"There will never be another Pink Floyd!" Thankful my older sister had good taste in music back in 1980. I remember stealing "The Wall" from her room all the time and when she finally caught me she made me listen to DSOTM. Thirty something years later and their music still amazes me.

Why does everybody play dumb and pretend not to know that it's because Roger W bloody fired the angelic Rick Wright that the others got so angry and then tossed him out of the band. It was awful on Roger's part but a great relief they got together again before it was too late. It would have been too awfully sad. Love them all so.
