You know what whould have hapened in that part of the game? Instead of waves of hunters and striders they should have Striders, Hunters, Combine soldiers, gunships and synth spawning all the time and the songs vortal combat, sector sweep and last legs played over and over again.

I dont know why but at this scene none of the combine soldiers or gunships spawns so only the Hunters and Striders spawn.... can any1 tell me how to make them spawn?

you can see the changes they made to this level, for example, there were no Combine, only hunters and striders. There were no resistance, only you with the Magnosin device.

Which is too bad. This would have been a lot more fun with all this action going on. valve said play testers had a hard time with this so they chose to get rid of this but I would still perfer to a least try this.

This was a great game except I was disappointed with this battle. I was expecting intense battles but it wasn't as good.  Could you download a mod or something so that way you can fight all these enemies and play it this way?

The game on Ps2 I believe was Half-Life 1, not episode 1. Half-Life 2: Episode 1 and Episode 2 are continuations of Half-Life 2.

This doesn´t show the whole video, after the strider has bombed the big house, Gordon runs thru the forest, driving over a Hunter and smacking a Combine Soldier, Gordon walks to a house and picks up the Magnusson Device (Strider Buster in beta) and shoot it at the Striders underbelly and pick up the main pistol, shooting it exploded.

i finally got it, it works great with my radeon 9600, but it doesn't look like it, the motion blur, soft dynamic shadows, and escpeciaally BLOOM just disappeared! they're was no blind blind at all, the caves looked dusy & the hunters were looking like they rolled in the dust before i pinned them down, BUT HEY =p you wont hear me complain the animation of bodies & blood are enough satifying for moi

On Half-Life 2 with a Radeon 9600 XT 256MB I used to get around 25 fps at minimum details.. So you might have to upgrade your graphics card for this one.

This is (assumingly) a video from a playtester. In the actual finished game, the car is different, and during this battle, there are only Striders and Hunters around. No Combine soldiers, no gunships.
