I was there. This was done at the end of the show when everybody thought the gig was over. The headliner for this was Faith No More (Ozzy came out to sing War Pigs) also on the bill, Motorhead, Bang Tango, FunHouse and coming all the way from Long Beach Arena where they just headlined to play 2 songs, Megadeth. I believe they played Holy Wars and Peace Sells.

I wish people would stop saying Kirk only plays fast! The Unforgiven, the beggining of Welcome Home Sanitarium, Fade To Black, Orion and To Live is To Die are among his best work, none are played particularly fast. They're as soulful as hell. Kirk has written some bloody epic solos, and people who say he hasn't are in serious denial.
