He has power like Chris, but he is missing the range that Chris has. He is a pretty good singer though, I wonder if he is close with him... never actually heard Chris talk about him.
@italianstallion30 Actually you've got it backward. He's got most of Chris' range, but he doesn't have quite the Power.
The high "From a good thing!!" in the chorus is as high as Jesus Christ Pose's verses, which is one of their highest songs besides the completely insane ones like Cold Bitch.
This sounds pretty good, but I don't agree it sounds like Chris Cornell. AT ALL. Just because they are brothers doesn't mean they sound alike. Chris is so unique, no one can come close. Not even his brother.
I really like Audioslave. Peter Cornell sounds a lot like his much popular brother. Now, if only he could join the rest of the ex-Audioslave & RATM members, that would be phenomenal...
These guys are really good. I was surprised I had never heard of them until very recently. One of my faves now. Great songs. Warned You, Gone Ten, Attic Light, Wave, Better Than A Killer, and Good Riddance are all great songs.
Help, where can I find the BMR cd's? I'm a teenager from Mexico that doesn't own a credit card but so want to listen to these guys, I normally go to the record store and buy what I listen but in cases like this one I'm forced to download the albums, but I can't find them... anyone? care to help?
haha ive always thought cornell should accentuate the definite aspect of his voice, the one that makes it his, his brothers is much more present, where is this band man, wtf come on get famous.
Not true AT ALL. Audioslave has some of the deepest and best songs that have ever been made, and following the 90s, that's definitely not easy. Although I'm not a huge fan of his new stuff, it's not the same, but it's grown on me. But saying that all his work since 1996 sucks...is saying too much. You're entitled to your opinion, but that is most definitely not true
No...you're right...I was exaggerating quite a bit. But really...aside from Audioslave's first album and a bit of their second, that band was kind of a lost cause. Besides, I find Tom Morello's riffs were almost important as the vocals. He's almost as big of a reason that I liked Audioslave. As for Cornell's solo stuff, you're speaking to a guy who REALLY liked Soundgarden. His solo stuff isn't terrible, but I just think he's capable of so much more with Thayil, Shepherd and Cameron.
i dunno, i mean euphoria morning is criminally under appreciated, i think it's where soundgarden would've gone if they kept with the dotu stuff, minus matt, kim and ben's contributions.... if you get what i mean?
I love Black Market Radio, but i prefer the recording from their previous album "Suicide Parlour". It was recorded differently and all of the songs sound much better in my opinion. So i highly recommend anyone to compare recordings to Suicide Parlour before you make up your mind. And thanks for the video!
This song is killer. I added it to my myspace page, I like this better than most of the audioslave stuff (except the original demos)
I've been a soundgarden fan since 1988 and this reminds me of their best(well my favorite) era which was the Ultramega ok period....can you say Toy Box.
Go Peter....I've been looking for your sh*t online for 7 years now and just never found much,
If they had promoted it better this could have been much bigger.

Woah this is weird. Peter sounds a lot like Chris! Crazy. This is pretty good though.

A few riffs and guitar sounds are similar to SG's pre-BMF, at least IMO. Surprising. And nice.
There were a handful of really good tracks on this album, I was really expecting an excellent second album but it seems they split. Shame.

awesome!!! vocal and riff's nice

I actually like Peter's vocal tone better than Chris'. might not quite have the same range, but he's still great.
\/ That guy is the definition of a fanboy. I mean, look at his profile.

He better be our new hope. His brother has turned into a walking vagina. This is better than anything Chris has done since Down on the Upside.
