using the leaf to make cocaine gives you a totally different product. Cocaine is bad for you and highly addictive. @soxeyer sadly no because they're afraid that someone is going to make cocaine out of a few coca leaves which is impossible. it's kind of a guilty by association thing. but what i don't understand is how you can buy poppies in any flower shop and you can make a lot of heroin out of a few poppy plants but you can't buy coca leaves.

Coca leaves and cocaine are two very different things. It's true cocaine is made of coca leaves. However, 1 grms of cocaine is the result of extracting the alkaloids of thousands of coca laves. Meaning, in 1 hour you would have to take thousands of coca teas for feling like 1 grm of cocaine.

I usually buy coca tea. At the beggining the flavor is a bit weird, but then it's ok. I would start just trying with coca tea. Usually you can get 100 coca tea bags for less than USD 10. If you want to chew coca leaves, just remember don't swallow the leaves, only the juice. The key is to chew the leaves slowly, pretty much the same as tobacco.
