I agree with practice however you have to be blessed if you weren't your practice and patience wouldn't lead anywhere, you wouldn't have that natural ability to start off with. There are plenty of things I have tried but couldn't perfect just because I wasn't blessed with that natural ability to start.

If you can't understand why people say someone is "blessed with musical ability", then you are not. Of course it takes an incredible amount of practice to get good at an instrument but not all people have the same potential. If you take two people at an early age and they practice the exact same amount, one person may be a better musician in their teens than the other person becomes in their entire life. Like I said if this doesn't make sense to you than clearly you are not one of the blessed

Some people can play, some people can't and you were blessed with the ability and the know how to take a task that you enjoy, practice and build upon that. You are a fantastic musician and you've worked hard, I'm sure, to get there. But you had the blessing bestowed upon your life to play and you've used it wisely, to your best ability and practiced to make it reality.
