Removing the foreskin diminishes sexual pleasure by 80% because 80% of the penis' nerve endings are in the foreskin (20,000 to 30,000 nerve endings, compared to only 8,000 in the clitoris). Removing the foreskin causes the glans to keratinize, become covered by calloused skin and slowly become desensitised, along with exposing it and the urinary meatus to contaminants, germs, irritants, etc.

@seymourLlama My comment was sincere. The outside of the foreskin is not particularly sensitive, so that huge number of nerve endings, if true, are on the inside, exposed when there is erection. What is the number of nerves to the head of the penis? I haven't seen that number presented. Altho the circumcised penis probably gets desensitized eventually, in the child's early neural development there would be extra stimulation which would lead to more neural networking at mind's core.

I completely agree. In an age where we have learnt to appreciate women's right it appears people have grossly neglected male's in this regard. A violation of human rights. Why doesnt the government ban male circumcision under 18. It recognises the human rights violation against females and not males - that there is sex discrimination. Both genders need to protected against this mutilation.
