Jesus said "do unto others as you would have others do unto you" some 2000 years ago. Not tooo many people listened. I believe that many people exploited Jesus' message and twisted it around to suit whatever they wanted to believe. In so doing, they believed a lie. Jesus warned about that, too. I bet had John Lennon read the Bible for himself, he "might" been more vocal than he had concerning Jesus. But then, lot's more people may not have wanted to hear what he (Lennon) had to say.
Did any of you watched the video? As far as I understand, Lennon is asking for peace. He is not asking for fights about religion. He is asking for peace, and non of you people are making peace. Give Peace a Chance. I'm catholic, and I believe in god, and I disagree with Lennon when he says all those bad things about religion, but I understand him, catholicism used to be about love, and non violence, but nowadays its all a confrontation. I truly believe that Jesus and Lennon say, peace and love.

Dear Whoever is hating on John and Yoko: Even though they are just sitting around in bed, in reality, what could they do?! They probably got mobbed everywhere they went. Peace will never exist in our lifetime. We will never know what peace could truly be like on earth, because nobody cares. At the end of the day, all people really care about is themselves. Not to say it's their fault, it's the system. The reason there will never be peace is because we're all forced to live life in a kill, or be killed world. Sometimes life just feels so pathetic & meaningless.
Well, I've let my hair grow. Can't stay in bed cause I got to pay the bills (great idea for John and Joko who are rich). It's hard to imagine peace in a world where the economy is in the toilet, famine exists, weather is screwed up, land mines are everywhere, politicians are crooked and the list goes on. I met John twice ( Aug 1966 in St Louis Beatle concert) and later in NYC,I found him to be a very sincere and dedicated person who really meant what he said and put his career and finaly his life on the line for a country(USA) he fell in love with and did so much for.

John Lennon and Yoko Ono were such beautiful people who inspired good and only had positive messages of loving one another. I shed a tear thinking that John can't be around today to continue to spread his message of love, peace and friendship but am so glad Yoko is still around preserving his memory. Love them both.

Peace will never exist in our lifetime. We will never know what peace could truly be like on earth, because nobody cares. At the end of the day, all people really care about is themselves. Not to say it's their fault, it's the system. The reason there will never be peace is because we're all forced to live life in a kill, or be killed world. Sometimes life just feels so pathetic & meaningless.

Well, I've let my hair grow. Can't stay in bed cause I got to pay the bills (great idea for John and Joko who are rich). It's hard to imagine peace in a world where the economy is in the toilet, famine exists, weather is screwed up, land mines are everywhere, politicians are crooked and the list goes on. I don't think a bed-in is going to do it. Good career move for them - as they say, nice tie but no cigar. Sorry, I was there when they did their bed-ins and it has been all down hill since.

I met John twice ( Aug 1966 in St Louis Beatle concert) and later in NYC,I found him to be a very sincere and dedicated person who really meant what he said and put his career and finaly his life on the line for a country(USA) he fell in love with and did so much for.
Yes you can look at him and call him a RADICAL but he was a radical for REAL CHANGE not the lip service we are told we were getting so used to hearing.

It was nothing like being here haha. What do you call the rest of U.S? like if you were to mention the rest of the country what would you refer to it as?

He wasn't trying to save lives in particular through his activism, he was simply providing an alternate lifestyle that can't exist in a capitalistic societies. When asked why he wasn't doing more about the Vietnam war, he said he wasn't trying to cure cancer, he was trying to prevent it.

John Lennon and Yoko Ono were such beautiful people who inspired good and only had positive messages of loving one another. I shed a tear thinking that John can't be around today to continue to spread his message of love, peace and friendship but am so glad Yoko is still around preserving his memory. Love them both.

The irony is the person who is against this seems to be the most unhappy person. No one cares about what you think, that's your opinion. The fact of the matter sir is that you're degrading the deceased. That's wrong. I could say that I hope when your spouse or children pass on, that they have a hate filled following; but I don't. At around 10:50 pm on 8 December 1980, as Lennon and Ono returned to their New York apartment in The Dakota, Mark David Chapman shot Lennon in the back four times at the entrance to the building. Lennon was taken to the emergency room of nearby Roosevelt Hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival at 11:07 pm. Earlier ...that evening, Lennon had autographed a copy of Double Fantasy for Chapman....SAD..WEAK MAN ..SHOULD BE PUNISH FOR ETERNITY....Thanks John For all!

Why is the world so offended by peace? My family came from a place where there were constant conflicts and wars, and I can't imagine another human being being able to take a life of another. Why can't we live in peace, love, and tolerance? It truly makes me sad whenever I think about how humanity is, and I hate the ones who kill, but I myself could never kill those who have done an atrocity like murder to me, my family, or my people; I am just not like that.
