Having troubles with mine, it starts and will run in park or neutral, but once i hit the gas while in drive or reverse it dies. changed out carbs, has 2 fuel pumps for gas, new plugs and wires. when i put the new carb. same problem. there isn't a vaccum leak. Just seeing if anyone could help me out. message my profile or vid. please
UPDATE: Since then, I've had the automatic shifter worked on. The shifter used to be loose and wobbley, causing it to mess with the neautral safety switch I guess. I haven't had the problem since and I didn't have to replace or adjust the neautral safety switch, just replaced the shifter assembly.
The problem is the neutral safety switch, replace or try to adjust it, usually just going down into neutral and back into park will let it crank, it should always crank while in neutral.
