  • I did some checking after seeing some of the comments on this page. One source lists Brian Johnson's birthplace as Dunston, Gateshead, England. He is of English and Italian descent. That's what the source said, also that he has three younger brothers and a younger sister. The other source said Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. The sources all seem to agree that England is his birthplace. Didn't know about the Italian descent though. That was a surprise.

  • Great song. Wow. Talk about the Blues. People just underrate AC/DC. This is why I get a little irritated when people call them a metal band. They're not. They are just GREAT rock & roll.

  • brian johson canta muito ac dc a maior banda do mundo

  • l cant slap my own ass.

  • why ultra rare? lol.....well...it's NOt....but I love it..beCaUse it is AC/DC !

  • the comments page is for arguing. if you REALLY just want to listen to the music, don't even scroll down.

  • why is it that people have to get on every video and argue? this video is a song for christ sakes.....shut up, set back and enjoy this kickass music. you can thank me later

  • AC/DC are one of the best rock and blues bands of our lifetime. They learned from the best like BB King and Robert Johnson as well as others, You can suck a BIG dog you ASS WIPE. Long Live the Blues And Rock And Roll !!!

  • Brian is from Newcastle. Angus, Malcolm and Bon are all Scotsman by birth.

  • Love it. AC/DC rules.

  • Clarification: Johnson born in Britain but with an Australian band.....

  • jeffhedien, Brian Johnson is Australian, not British. You're quite the music fan, I see. *sarcasm*

  • @fishscapes1 He's not Australian, he is actually English

  • @MasterTterb98 all you guys are stupid, he's scottish

  • @Dixoncheesepuffs Screw off

  • to all of u lady gaga and jb fans I dont know what u call 'em but i call 'em fuckin Bitches!!

  • Great song.

    Fuck haters.

    Love acdc.

  • WOW!

  • Thanks for posting this! I hadn't heard this one and I thot I was up on all AC/DC stuff. I've been finding some rare tracks tonight.

  • @casu3 How come EVERY fucking rap song is a rip off of a earlier white artists song? How come yall dont fuck the nigger bitches that God made for you? I dont blame you for not fuckin a nigger but the simple truth is niggers are theives and animals and the only thing yall ever done worth a fuck was blues music, kool aide and invent peanut butter, thanks for that, love me some peanut butter.

  • None with Bon Scott. That Johnson singer sounds like he shits razor blades.

  • @jeffhedien What the fuck are you talking about? Brian has one of the most powerful and amazing voices I've ever heard, and how come you compare them? They're both fucking bad ass and cool at their own way, if you don't believe this you can go suck a cock. Besides, the only person I know that sounds like she shits razor blades is your mother when I fuck her in the butthole. ^^ Hoho, as I said before, go suck a cock, faggot.

  • @ACSGDC2

Ok, Ok already. But you have to admit - Brian is British which means he is gay or swings both ways.

He certainly looks like he is gay anyway. just like you.

  • @jeffhedien What kind of shitty answer is that? Did you get it from a cereal box? You've got to be shittin' me, fuckin' cunt.

  • when I clicked on this I was hoping for a Saints cover but this is still pretty cool

  • damn fine tune..

  • This is great stuff!!

  • Its a good song, and it IS AC/DC. But this is were they got their inspiration from, the old bluesmen.

  • Hey guys calm down, this isnt a official version. The boys are just jamming around, and i think it really does jam. Brian dosnt know half of the text, angus and mal also dont know every note ... thats what you call a jam, just fiddeling and having fun with it.

  • wauuuuuuuuuu.this very good amazing.acdc cover junior wells.cool

  • Meh, it's good, but not AC/DC

  • @sivazh It is Ac/dc

  • @patorr69 Oh I know I just mean not their style.

  • it sucks...... never play this song like that again ..... Junior Well's be rollin' in his grave.

  • @jeffhedien suck my dick cunt there no such thing as a bad acdc song

  • @poopyguy1694 haha you tell em poopy guy!!! :D

  • How in the hell can anyone say that this version of the song sucks. All they are doing here is jamming. That is what musicians do.ANGUS is doing some killer lead work on here.If they wanted to tighten this up from being a loose jam it really would be great. This is great for a jam.Anyone who would criticize a loose jam negatively when the musicians are playing something musically correct doesn't know anything about music.JAMMING is the fun part of playing.

  • oh fuck off if you just enjoyed the song instead of writing mean bullshit somewhere that they don't belong. please act like real rock n roll lovers

  • @bill53100 Absolutely Right !! all best !

  • @oma15 Dude, you should try listening to Bon's material with them. Songs like "Can I Sit Next To You", "Rocker", "There's Gonna Be Some Rockin'", "Baby Please Don't Go" and "Show Business" are all very bluesy.

  • @casu3 lmao, idiot!

  • are you sure its B.J. Willson on drums? if this is from the Flick if the switch rehearsals there is also a video of it. and there is simon wright on the drums.

  • It's Simon...

There's video of him playing it

  • show de bola acdc muito fodaaa...

    Rock for men

    :]

  • same guitar as rock in peace but slower

  • why haven't i eve heard this song before!! its a fuckin GREAT song!!!!

  • @MaximumRocker30 look for rory gallagher

  • It's usually associated with Junior Wells (& Buddy Guy).

Search for MESSIN' WITH THE KID JUNIOR WELLS and check it out.

  • such a cruel riff and bass too!!

  • je n avais jamais entendu ce titre la! felicitations a celui qui l a mis en ligne. une rareté!

  • is this a bonus track or something?

  • no its another song that just didnt make the cut to be on the album.....which would have been a good idea to put it on since it sounds awesome lol but hey atleast u can listen to it now

  • i totally agree, rockfreak611. This stuff is always the shit and they need put it out there for other people to buy! This kinda stuff and the live version of Landslide, unreleased material?? why can't we have all of it? are they greedy or do they just think it wouldn't sell??whatever it is, they NEED a rarities ONLY album, seperate from Bonfire's rarities(which WAS awesome, but not like this). There are NO Brian Johnson era rarities on cd! its a crime.

  • Bonfires rarities were not that rare. Except a few of the highway to hell demos. Accutally...... The "Back seat confidential" was a Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap album demo. But it never made it.

  • also the backtracks rarites where not that rare ether, Most of them were on singles, and some where on the aussie albums.

  • @gerbile3 back seat confidential was their first version of beating around the bush

  • Yeah.

But it was originally an outtake for a song that was going to be on dirty deeds, but that obviously did not make it.

  • Well if they put out the rare brian stuff now, what are they gonna put out when the band gives it up? Trust me, in another 20 years you'll probably be thankful they didn't put it out now. They don't belive in Greatest hits albums so the rare ones they probably save until the band retires. Then they might have enough songs to put out two rare albums. I honestly think theres way more rare ones then we know about.

  • AC/DC don't like greatest hits or similiar albums. The only thing close is Who Made Who. Anyway, every fan knows of all their rare songs because of youtube.

  • BJ needs procol....hes not a drummer he is the conductor....( cool jam though;)

  • brian's voice is really bluesy here, and it's awesome!

  • It's BJ Wilson on drums. This was before Simon was hired and after Phil was fired. Look at the tags, you'll see his name there.

  • This was recorded during the tour rehearsals, well after Simon was hired.

  • Nope.

    Look at the tags....

  • Are you fucking serious?

I would expect much more from a fan of your caliber.

  • LOL, look at the video tags... see BJ Wilson? he was drumming.

  • Who gives a fuck what the tags say.

In fact, RNRD had in the description that BJ Wilson was drumming, but has since taken that bit down. Know why? Because he was wrong. This was recorded during the tour rehearsals.

  • I wish they would release a complete Rarities and Australian album with everything they've ever done. I'd be first in line.

  • Phil drummed on the Flick album and then left straight away, that`s why Simon`s in all the Flick promo clips.

  • This song is great! But it wudnt really fit on FOTS since it's so raw. But one thing is sure. This thing is way underrated!

  • If it´s in the flick era, it´s Simon on the drums

  • Simon joined after the recording was finished,BUT is seen on all the music videos and played them all live in 1983

  • its a juinior wells cover.................

  • the deffinately not phil. some one was riding on a cymbal.

  • no way easy to recognise angus too

  • AC/DC should play more blues-rock songs IMO :D

  • @mikszn You're absolutely right ... They do play a great blues ...

  • RORY GALLAGHER

  • "if you like this type of music you should check out my band, custom guns, and watch our videos we kick some ass but we need a frontman in the san antonio area!!!!

    WE WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR INPUT"

  • Just wanna tell everybody that this guy: beergut111 is always sayin that rare recordings with AC/DC isnt AC/DC. He think he knows everything about them but he dont know a shit, that's proven by all his ''not-AC/DC'' comments on several videos. Thx

  • sounds like a real 1950's blues song

  • i have never heard this song befor was it a deleted song or something?

  • i find this rather hard to believe to be ac/dc....why all the delay on the drums?....the rest of the tracks cut from the same album aren't like that. The sound is completly diffrent.

  • It's only a soundboard recording. The delay was just natural reverb from the room they were in, I guess.

  • reverb and delay are 2 diffrent things. The vocals and guitars have reverb on them, the drums have delay.

  • True.

  • why do you say all rare AC/DC songs isnt AC/DC, you should learn how to recognize them before you talk!

The recording isnt very good no wonder it doesnt sound right but, it is AC/DC

  • could that possibly have anything to do with the track not being released?

  • Well I can tell it's AC/DC just because I'm hearing Brian's voice in this record.

  • ur an idiot its just an outtake of them covering a famous blues singer...remember these guys grew up in the 50s and 60s listening to this music so part of it is in them so sometimes the like do get down with the blues...AND HOW THE HELL DO YOU NOT RECOGNIZE BRIAN'S VOICE?!

  • @Familyguy1230

    brian does this so well!!!

  • Hey everyone take a listen to Badlands and then put this song on. What a different tempo, Base, Lead and Base. Even Anguss voice is oh, so different.

  • Angus doesn't sing, fucknuckle.

  • You mean Brian right? I hope so xP

  • I love everyone who posts these rare AC/DC songs...I've never heard any other version of this song, but AC/DC rocks it.

  • so dam tasty hail angus and ac/dc

  • I have created the ULTIMATE AC/DC playlist! Just click on my account and got to playlists. Theres a TON of artists there! I have a playlist full of nothing but AC/DC music vids and live shows, one with rare tracks from AC/DC, yet another with the all the tracks on the new Black Ice CD, and, last but not least, on with live footage from the AC/DC live show in Wilkes-Barre! Check it out!

  • imo deep purple had some bad songs i.e. Hush, lol ty for this, never heard it before.

  • SORRY ( madboytomson) i dicagree totally, listen to gallagher's version on the "live in europe" album,........dude it's far better than "Breifcase full of blues"........ as for been a DONEGAL man or a CORK, all i know is that he was an IRISH MAN...........

  • Rorys the man alright,a donegal man!

  • This is really cool.. And you guys are right, Rory Gallagher is better.. BUT the Blues Brothers version from the album, Briefcase Full Of Blues, beats Rory anytime.. And Rory is a tuff guy to beat..

  • i love ac/dc............but this version is not a patch on rory gallagher's version......

  • oh my god dude thank you!!!! i love dc to bits but rory owns this song

  • Good listening this.

  • There are 2 more songs that haven't been released from the vaults of the Flick of the Switch era

  • Rory Gallagher!

  • Seventiesclassic, who gives a fuck? If you truly understood what a classic is, as your name suggests, you would understand that this is a band that has not just been around for 36 years, but has kicked ass for that same amount of time, unlike Status Quo and Deep Purple. Look at how their new album sold, how their current tour has seen such high attendence. They are rock gods.

  • You can call it what you want,

but I call it messin' with the lyrics.

  • The Blues Brothers version owns every other cover out there. Before you flame me go listen to it at least

  • Just watched part of it...he fucked up the lyrics on the 1st line..so I clicked off..and opened this one.

  • Or maybe he changed the lyrics? ACDC uses different lyrics in their songs at just about every performance. Trust me, I have 3 live DVDs.

  • Read again pal..I wasn't talking about AC

Gay See, I was talking about Blues Bros version..although this isn't much better.

  • Yeah, I know. I was saying a lot of bands change lyrics in songs which is what the Blues Brothers did. I was pointing out the fact that ACDC does it too. You read it again, buddy.

And GTFO faggot. Anyone who doesnt give ACDC the respect they deserve isnt worth my time

  • You'll find that a lot of bands don't change the lyrics to other bands songs..intentionally...they can't be bothered to get them right..like these Oz queer boys.( yeah I know at least one is a Brit, from the band,Geordie.).

  • Youre such a dick. ACDC is the greatest rock band ever, hands down.

  • Thought you said I wasn't worth your time..LMAO.

  • *shrug* well I felt the need to stand up for my favorite band.

  • Ahhh bless...I bet they'll be eternally grateful that you defend them on youtube.

  • Damn straight

  • and they will be too offended by you attacking them, i dont care what you think, the fact that they are rocking for more than 36 years make them, with the rolling stones, the 2 best rock bands ever

  • If longevity makes a band great, then you must surely include Status Quo, who 1st started in 1962....and of course truly the greatest band ever..

...Deep Purple, who have been around since 1967 and influenced many other bands.

  • really??? deep purple the best ever?!?!?

    no.

  • when they recorded the flick of the switch album in the bahamas they didn't do shit, i never said they never did anything in the bahamas dumbass, read the message next time. this was a lackluster, run of the mill., ho-hum album, but i know many ac/dc fans feel this is an underrated album, which is fine, that is the way i feel about the fly on the wall album. which i am also aware is a very unpopular album among ac/dc fans but i like it anyway.

  • fly on the wall rocks .. back in business ... what a rockin song...
