not a problem. My own fighting style mirrors the philosophy of the fighting monks. Never strike someone when talking will do, never maim someone when simply striking will do, never kill someone when maiming will do. Take a life only if the aggressor will never stop otherwise... I normally just use submission holds & let them peter out and just walk away.
