While Jay Lethal does a damn good Macho Man impression it's pathetic that he had to make a name for himself ripping off the Macho Man. What ever happened to creating your own identity? I guess lethal would rather have people stop on him the streets and say "Hey, you're a great impersonator" versus "Hey, you're a great, talented, unique wrestler."
@zzDzCzCzz I agree, but at the same time, have you seen Jay Lethal when he isn't impersonating someone? The contrast is stark...he would never have gotten over without such a silly gimmick.
@RatKing59 If being a copy cat is what he feels he needs to do - true. I still think things like this epitomize what is wrong with current wrestling. Never in the golden days would people resort to gimmick stealing and impersonation on such a grand scale to gain recognition. Also, we all know wrestling is scripted. But at some point suspending belief can only go so far. And this type of thing Lethal, Eugiene, Hornswaggle to me, are further making a mockery of a once great business.
This is a great segment. I laugh everytime I see this. I think Lethal does the best Macho Man that I've seen and it's too bad that both of them couldn't do a segment together. That would've been classic. Macho and Lethal doing Savage. The funny thing is that Jarrett and Hogan would be pretty good critics too since they spent alot of time with Savage and would know how close he sounded and acted just like Savage.
Oh my God, please tell me the EXACT date of this TNA episode, so that I can watch this again and again and again...OOOOOOOOH YEAAAAAAAAAH ! Macho Man R.I.P. I love you man !
@ianhitman nope! hes right!! do to copyright laws, they were in fact called the mega manaics! actually the were the monster maniacs first! wich sounded horrible!
@CraigJericho Macho gave his blessing to Kevin Nash to allow Jay Lethal to do the Black Machismo angle. It kept his name and likeness out there but since Macho signed a deal with WWE to do the new action figures, Lethal due to copyright laws, couldn't do the angle anymore.
@WWFHEAD I think the Mega Maniacs were Hogan and Beefcake, The Ultimate Maniacs were Savage and Warrior, I always used to get mixed up as a kid it used to drive me nuts, still does. Seriously, though, Jay Lethal doing Black Machismo and when he did Flair was incredible. They are some of the best impressions that ive seen anywhere, not just in wrestling. I don't follow wrestling closley anymore i just watch my collection of old stuff but Jay Lethal's skits are some of the best Ive seen.
HOLY SHIT HOW EPIC IS THAT?!?!?! I think I just shit my pants.

Lethal has Randy's voice and mannerisms to near perfection, right down to the Lizard Face at 1:02.
If you close your eyes at 1:09-1:13, you would swear it was Randy himself!

Remember the late Rick Williams who was the Renegade in WCW? Fans thought that he was the Ultimate Warrior, but they knew he was the fake Warrior.
