  • Seems like the OSU fans are enjoying the Band!

  • On Wisconsin!

  • Seeing as how the band did it, how could that not be the band logo?

  • I'm damn proud to be a Wisconsinite. But unfortunately I'm " misplaced " in Ohio for a moment. I can't wait till the day I can finally take up residence in Wisconsin once again, and stay there for good. Go Wisconsin!

  • I know exacly how you feel. i want to get out of ohio to

  • One more week and I'll be back in Wisconsin ... :o)

    I'm sooooo excited !!

  • for some reason and i must not be good at but i can never read the letters any of the marching bands spell out lol...but yeah it's about competition but it is also about fun and enjoy it

  • Great band but weird "W" formation. Looks like a bunch of greek columns more than a letter.

  • That's the "logo" of the Wisconsin band.

  • Yeah I know. But if you arent familiar with Wisconsin's band, its hard to see a "W" there.

  • I was at this game and was glad to see the UW band make the trip. The Bands of the BIG TEN are fantastic....esp OSU, Wisconsin, MSU, Purdue, Penn State and scUM. The traditions of these Bands and showmanship is incredible.

  • and the hazing ha ha ha

  • The stuff that goes on in the UW Band is no different, probably even milder than what happens in college dorms all over the country.

What strikes me about this is the amount of empty seats visible. OSU vs. another Big 10 opponent and there are empty seats? Never happen in Camp Randall.

  • My brother is in the band, and was at this game and Ohio State's band ran out of songs and Wisconsin's band played them off of their own field! HA!

  • Played us off our own field?? It's called letting the visiting band have fun. It'll be a cold day in hell before anyone plays the Ohio State band off the field. You guys have a great band but come on!! ran out of songs?? one of the most ignorant things I've ever read.

  • They didn't play them off the field, tOSUMB usually play 3-6 songs for a post game performance then leaves and lets its members rest because they're tired, many of them having been up since 4am of very little sleep. Sorry if they didn't feel like staying around till 5th quarter.

  • The BIG TEN UNIVERSITIES ALL PLAY EACH OTHER FIGHT SONGS

  • Their marching styl is called "stop at the top" as DarEupho17 stated. And they're right, no one else does it. Also, the Wisconsin Band always plays its opponents school song when performing at any football event. Something I have yet to see other bands do. To me that shows class and respect for their opponents. But then, from what I've seen of JFMello1116's comments, they wouldn't know respect if it came up and bit them in the backside.

  • Iowa'a Marching Band always plays the visiting teams school song, I have been there to see them even play "On Wisconsin". So I guess you could say that we Hawkeyes have "class" and show "respect" too.

  • Every school plays the visitors fight song. I am suprised Iowa has enough literates to form a band.

  • I was just replying to the comment made by "therevsdad". There was no need to add your futher comments about Iowa's band. I guess people think the comment box is meant to attack another entity.

  • UMMM dito everybody plays each others fight songs.

  • Wisconsin isn't the only band that learns the other teams fight song. The whole Big 10 Conference does it. Right after our fight song, we turn around and play the opposing teams song, often times better than their own band. OSU and MSU have by far the most respectful relationship in the BIG 10. Also, if you go to a game at the horseshoe, or a skull session at St. John Arena, you will notice that the band and the fans stand (for us at attention) during the opponents Alma Mater...even Michigan

  • I remember seeing a halftime show acknowledged the opponent's band, and I loved it. I don't recall having said anything about that tradition here. Just because I don't appreciate the Wisconsin band doesn't mean I respect nothing.

  • Maybe JFMello1116 should watch a better video than one that is 100ft above the field if he's going to talk about people's feet...

  • No, OSU does high stepping. These guys look like they're trying to do it on a field slathered in honey.

  • It's called stop at the top. No one else does it.

  • It's called high stepping.

  • why does it look like they are stepping into something sticky on the field?!?!?!

  • Because they march like real people.

  • "real people"???

  • GO MARCHING BAND!!!! *woot woot*
