  • Poi is Maori for 'ball on cord' I personally have been doing Poi for about 2 years. I highly recommend getting in to Poi. It is very rewarding, its also lots of fun. There is also a thing called Glow-stringing its like poi but different. If anyone is interested in seeing some check out my channel.

  • @glowspaz I recommend trying out poi and glowstringing haha

  • ka mate, ka mate

    kick ass, kick ass

    I <3 MAORI

  • Isn't 'Poi' Maori for 'ball' ? Seems silly to call this 'poi balls' then, doesn't it? =/

  • @foxinsocks506 um no, poi isnt maori for ball. poro is the maori word for ball.

  • This is cool. I like how they use their bodies as percussion. I usually try to avoid hitting myself with the poi. Nicely done.

  • lolz

  • wats da song called??

  • Sweet.

  • :/....

  • nice different style than reguar poi I like it

  • Maori poi is the original style of poi, there are other forms similar, varying from different countries and mashed up, which is why most people think of Poi as being different to this traditional style.

  • @aaaabbbbccccghhhhhhh that is regular poi. all poi forms spring from the traditional maori way. although this may not be the best example... try nickwoolsey's video on youtube. its called Poi

  • papaki tahi kia rite te takahi kia kori to tinana ngawari!

taku poi raupo e rere atu ra!

    Mauria te aroha!

  • thats hot o.O
