Well everyone has different tastes so I can't say who will like the game or not. I did play EQ2 for a couple years before moving on to Vanguard though. If you're sick of EQ2 then I'd say give Vanguard a try.

I was looking in to Vanguard though i'm wondering a few things

1. Is it more PvE or PvP based in end-game

2. How is the Raiding(if there is) and PvP

3. Hows the leveling? Grind style or just run around and do quests?

That's pretty much all I to know, but any other info is great.

The crafting system in Vanguard is unbelievably good. The world is so beautiful and vast!

I tried warhammer online, but it didn't really appeal to me. Currently, I'm working on a Darkfall character.

Absolutely. Warhammer is just WoW 1.5 and Lotro is just boring. If I wasn't playing Fallen Earth I'd play Vanguard or Age of Conan. I'm pretty sure there is a free trial so you could always try before you buy.

Lotro is an amazing game, tons of content. The game always has huge free updates with tons of new regions and content. The graphics are AMAZING. I suggest some of you try it, they have a 10 day trial!

Well, lotro is a very nice game, indeed, but.. lot's of content? At this precise moment end game is 7 instances, a pvmp area and 2 raids. Both raids are: u open the door, and there's the boss.

All the 7 instances can be completed in less than an hour. True, graphics are really nice, the different classes are quite well designed and, most important, the community in the game is, in general terms, very nice and quite mature. however, dood quality but very little content.

Ppoor guy. Darkfall is possibly the worse MMORPG I've ever played - and I've played some stinkers in my time. It looks stunning, has great potential all ruined by its community, hackers and exploiters. Honestly, I've never seen so many macrobots even in F2P games it seemed like half the server was in on it. But then again I gave up on Vanguard, but it made a comeback... won't hold my breath though.

The customization is back, but it's still not as good as it used to be. There're still less sliders and the face is more rigid than it once was (less ability to make unique face).

Btw, I loved your vid :) I'd love to try VG, but don't have a systme to run it yet.

It's one of the few decent mmo's left. It has a ffa pvp server although it's dead. And I think just /duel on the non pvp servers.

I downloaded it last night to use my friends free trial.

I have hardly stopped playing it since.

Only bad things about it are:

1.) Lack of players, I've only seen about 20 over about 15 hours of gameplay. But the new trial island should attract more people, so hopefully that one will go away.

2.) The download! Took me 15 hours to download it! Was so annoying, like trying to sleep on christmas eve haha! But I can see why it took so long to take, the game is HUGE!

God I hate when say that. You do realize that WoW is not the first mmorpg and that it has ripped off countless games right? Plus every fantasy game is a "ripoff" of D&D anyways and D&D "ripped off" old fantasy authors and so on.

The game is actually nothing like WoW. It's more like EQ and EQ2 which is where it's roots are, though it is still a different game.

WotLK isn't a rip-off, its part of Warcraft lore and has been anticipated and questioned before it was evem announced if we'd see Arthas and Northrend in a expansion or patch.

Haha.... You needed to play EQ back when velious first came out. The lore isn't the issue, the issue is everything else has been lifted right off Velious. Both Tigole and Furor, 2 of Blizzards major developers for WoW, were big time EQ players when Velious was released and to say WotLK isn't a Velious rip off is asinine.
