can anyone help me with this problem i am having, okay so i just downloaded all the patches (just got the game), made an account but i didnt have time to play so i closed down the game, when i tried to play it after its said scanning local files 1/4, then started to download all the patches again! can som1 plz tell me a way to maybe not have to download them all again? ty

TerrasErronis - question - did you ever try using the evasion, since you say you used the mouse clicking method of combat, what about the evasion, ive heard it was fairly useful for some people when they finally started using it near the end of the weekend beta..??

Yes I did. You can double tap backwards and your player will jump back while giving you a short buff your defense/dodge. You can also double tap forward to make your plater lunge forward and buff your offense(chance to stun opponent).

I didn't use these features as much as I intended to. They are great help, but I forgot about them too often. The times I remembered, it helped. This, of course, is just because I was new to the game. On release, expect to see a lot of dodging and lunging!

judging from most of the beta footage, People play kinda like when they are 12 and are playing tekken and just mash their keyboard in a frantic panic.

Yes, this was the problem with the PvP weekend and why some didn't like it. A lot of people didn't take the time to learn how to play so you have a group of people new to the game trying to play a level 20 character they've never seen before. The few times you got into a match with good players the PvP was awesome.  Name of the song is "Go ask alice." ;)

Once you learn the class I found it to be a lot of fun. Staying alive is not as hard as some say, you just have to learn how to play the class first.

I'm not in the beta but I noticed that it is very hard to stay alive with the classes tempest of set, necromancer and demonologist.

And it gets very frustrating if you die every 2 minutes.

Put thats just my opinion.
