Besides, it's not that hard to get everyone to loyalty. You just need to do every loyalty quest before you go get the IFF and after you get back from the dead reaper, talk to legion, do his mision and then jump through the relay. If you do more than one mission after the IFF, you loose your crew.
@KoRnFaNaTiK btw, i read somewhere that Mordin / Grunt are the best options for the survivors to go back to the ship. Mordin is Ex STG and Grunt would most likely blow off any collector it gets in his way.. never tried jacob or any other but if it worked out for you i guess it's fine.

My team vs the human reaper is Miranda (only so she quits cerberus in my face) and Legion/Thane/Samara
On Insanity, I like to use Jack and Thane for the Suicide Mission since Jack's Warp Ammo is really useful against the Collector's barriers, not to mention they are nice for setting up biotic combos.
i have 95% of the paragon bar full so i decided to do jack's loyalty quest and i didnt have enough paragon to have the option where jack and miranda are both happy so i had to go back 2 hours and i have to do 3 loyalty mission and a bunch of side missions T_T
@akafan1 The longer you put off doing Jack and Miranda's loyalty missions, the higher the check is for your paragon skill. If you do them both quickly after they unlock you can break up the fight with fairly low score still; I've broken them up with maybe a 50% score this way. Same basic rules apply to Tali and Legion

Sending them in your fire teams means they have more back up and are more likely to survive with everyone. If you take them lowest levels tend to die like Mordin and Tali. Also for the tech specialist, Legion works as does Kasumi. The fire teams, Jacob and Garrus are good choices as well. Sending Mordin back with his loyalty means fire has a higher SR. Biotics: Jack & Samara only
I did everything exactly as Gus said, and on Insanity, and it worked perfectly for me. I don't get why people are saying this isn't helpful, if it wasn't, you're just fucking retarded and didn't have everyones loyalty.
Bad walkthrough. i had non-loyal people on my squad, just don't put them in a position. You should make mordin the escort as if the escort is loyal they cannot die. Also use weak characters for the final boss as then they wont die (I had tali and kasumi).
Mainly you just need all three main ship upgrades (talk to your crew) and pick loyal team members for the different positions: pick a loyal kasumi/legion/tali as the tech and loyal samara/morinth/jack as the biotic (not miranda) etc.

you dont have to have everyone's loyalty, i did it without Tali's loyalty due to Legion joining the team. Simply have her in the vents or in your team for the first part, and then later send her off with the survivors and she will make it no prob
Personally i always get everyone loyal. First playthrough i had trouble because i messed up the jack-miranda argument, siding with jack, and i let Vido Escape during Zayeeds missions. Luckily they both survived.

Ooooh my God, I can't believe this. Here's the deal Roster Teeth guys.... I have been playing my 2nd play through of this game for MORE then 40 HOURS! Just to get, what I think are the most difficult trophies (I have this game on PS3) in this cruel game, and of course some others along the way that I couldn't get through my first play through . Make sure you have the armor, shield, and cannon upgrades for your ship, this prevents 3 possible deaths
Tali or Legion for tech specialist
Samara or Jack could be the biotic shield
Miranda or Garrus for leading 2nd squad
from my experiences in 4 different playthroughs, Mordin, Jacob, or Grunt could lead people back to ship And as long as the team members you take with you on the final battle are loyal, they will live

Nor did I have Maranda because I was afraid that if she lead the team with Jack on it there would be complications. Side note: last part of the level right b4 u go to fight the h. reaper, u gotta pick 2 allies to go with u while everyone else will stay behind to hold off the collectors. Dude, even if u have everyone's loyalty, some "low defense" allies can still die. Such as mordin jack and tali who have the lowest "defense scores" of the team. To up their chances of survival, either bring them with u to fight the human reaper or leave behind people with high "defense scores" to help defend. Top guys wud be
@HunterJoe010 The red gun Gus used is the revenant. When you're on the collector ship after the second set of dossiers it is available to any soldier at the weapon choosing or training part.

Had everyone's loyalty, high renegade. Sent Jacob with the crew but I lost Mordin. Good thing I get to do it all over again, another 1.5 hrs of cutscenes. So ready for ME3
Legion or Tali in the duct, Garus, Miranda, or Jacob leading the second squad, Samara/Morinth, or Jack as your biotic, send Mordin to lead the crew back, that should get you the bonus.
Miranda isn't a strong enough biotic. I take Zaleed and Grunt with me, we slay the enemy rather fast, they're strongest.

I used miranda leading the first team, taking grunt and thane with me and sending legion as the tech specialist, and they all survived. Then garrus led the second team with Samara as my biotic and thane and grunt in the squad. I sent Mordin back with the survivors, and took Tali and Thane with me to the final battle. They all survived, but I had loyalty of everyone
for those who lost the loyalty of jack/miranda/tali/legion, you can gain it back if you are high in paragon or renegade. just talk to the loser after the fight and you'll have a paragon or renegade response to gain it back
I've heard the only way to get Legion is to do a crap load of renegade stuff and having some people die. And I really need to know, is there a way to get Legion with paragon and not renegade. Please help me.

All you people complaining about mordin not surviving you can send him back to the ship insteead of Jacob but make sure he has omni tool upgrade and loyaltiy
Just get done with all the loyalty missions before you go get the Reaper IFF. There, you'll get legion and then do his mission. That way you'll have everyone's loyalty.

everyone was loyal, i spent like 40 hours in the game taking my time ect. Everything was going fine till a cutscene showed up with mordins ugly body on the floor. salarian fucker cost me the trophy.
@bigmackstar1 Talk to Miranda in her Quarters. You can make up with her to make her loyal, but she will NOT be a romance interest if you're a male Shepard.
@STARSLAYER95 Mordin has the lowest "defence" out of all the team members when holding the line. I always send him back to the ship with the crew and that guarantees his survival!
@marko140397 I don't think miranda even if loyal will work but she's your next best bet and if you choose miranda for the tech thing then 2nd squad leader has to be loyal jacob since miranda is doing the tech thing.
@tenenzuo Let Mordin take the people back to the ship. (and if everyone is loyal to you) then take Tali with you to fight the Reaper. That is how I got the achievement. (When I sent Mordin away with the crew he was replaced by Tali for dying at the end.)
Actually you can choose anyone for the tech mission. According to the official walkthrough book the survival of the character you choose is based on if they are loyal to you. I would have got this achevement but somewhere along the way Mordin went and got his head blown off, though I have no understanding how since he was loyal to me and he didn't have any important roles.
@blackcatxana after acquiring the reaper IFF the number of side quests you do 'other' than legion's loyalty increases the chance of someone dying. Also, even after you've done everything 'perfect' there's still a chance someone will die, usually mordin. Also; I had Garrus leading the second squad, Legion as my tech expert, jack as the biotic specialist, and jacob escorting the crew survivors. Rescued Kelly chambers as well.
@DJBayview Nope. Doing one side mission will kill Kelly, two will kill her and half the crew, any more will kill everyone except Chakwas. Also, if you do everything right, there is no chance that anyone will die; if some people who hold the line aren't loyal, then the game's calculations may lead to one or more deaths, and Mordin is front of the line for that. There's no probability here: you can precisely calculate the end outcome from your choices and the loyalties of your crew.
@blackcatxana No, you can't. Only tech specialists count—anyone else will die, loyal or not, and even a loyal tech specialist will die with the wrong team leader. Every special role requires the right person for the job, and their loyalty.

Anyone else WILL DIE. Send ANY Loyal Member back to help Chakwas survive, unloyal = death. The good biotics are Jack or Samara/Morinth. The others will get the first person you select in that squad killed. Leaving behind heavy armor like Garrus, Zaeed and Grunt will protect lower ones like Tali & Mordin.
@blackcatxana Mordin is STG, not an mechanical engineer. Tali, Legion and Kasumi are experts in Tech. Jacob, Garrus and Miranada are your Leaders for part 1 and 2. Mordin & Tali have the LOWEST defense/sheilds, send them back to Normandy with Chakwas. Have Samara/Morinth or Jack defend your team. During the final fight, Leave Zaeed, Grunt & Garrus (all heavy armor/sheilds) to defend the low defense people like Samara and Mordin and Tali. Take Thane & Miranda to warp armor.
@liljagsa Nope. I corrected the problem by sending him with the crew, and I took Tali with me to fight the reaper. The first time I sent him with the crew Tali ended up dying and for some reason taking her with me to fight the reaper fixed the problem and all my crew members survived.

Miranda is actually a fail for the biotic part... Btw you want more survivor from your ships you need to arrive quickly there, dont waste time with other mish... The more time you take, the more will die.
Mordin is the only character that doesnt matter if he is loyal or not, if you leave him in the final battle then he might die. The only way to secure his saftey is to either have him take the crew back to the Normandy or have him in your final party.
I got it on first try. Wasn't too hard for me. Just make sure you have all ship upgrades. Because people can die on the ship even if they are loyal if you don't have those upgrades.
Basically, you need full paragon/renegade, all your squad members loyalty, choose the characters as he did in this video, and just to be safe, all the Normandy upgrades so no one gets blown to shit when your in the debris field.

Side note: last part of the level right b4 u go to fight the h. reaper, u gotta pick 2 allies to go with u while everyone else will stay behind to hold off the collectors. Dude, even if u have everyone's loyalty, some "low defense" allies can still die. Such as mordin jack and tali who have the lowest "defense scores" of the team. To up their chances of survival, either bring them with u to fight the human reaper or leave behind people with high "defense scores" to help defend. Top guys wud be

@HunterJoe010 The red gun Gus used is the revenant. When you're on the collector ship after the second set of dossiers it is available to any soldier at the weapon choosing or training part.

Legion or Tali in the duct, Garus, Miranda, or Jacob leading the second squad, Samara/Morinth, or Jack as your biotic, send Mordin to lead the crew back, that should get you the bonus.
Miranda isn't a strong enough biotic. I take Zaleed and Grunt with me, we slay the enemy rather fast, they're strongest.

I used miranda leading the first team, taking grunt and thane with me and sending legion as the tech specialist, and they all survived. Then garrus led the second team with Samara as my biotic and thane and grunt in the squad. I sent Mordin back with the survivors, and took Tali and Thane with me to the final battle. They all survived, but I had loyalty of everyone

for those who lost the loyalty of jack/miranda/tali/legion, you can gain it back if you are high in paragon or renegade. just talk to the loser after the fight and you'll have a paragon or renegade response to gain it back

I've heard the only way to get Legion is to do a crap load of renegade stuff and having some people die. And I really need to know, is there a way to get Legion with paragon and not renegade. Please help me.

Just get done with all the loyalty missions before you go get the Reaper IFF. There, you'll get legion and then do his mission. That way you'll have everyone's loyalty.
Choose Garrus for squad leader (both times)
Choose Legion for Tech Specialist
Choose Jacob for the escort
Choose Samara for the biotic.
This got me the achievement.

OK, for the mission i sent:
Tech Specialist: Legion
2nd team leader: Garrus, both times
Escort: Mordin
Biotic specialist (the one who makes the biotic field): Samara
Squad (at any time): Tali, Grunt (while Garrus was 2nd team leader), and Garrus (at the final fight)
Everyone was loyal, and nobody died. Hope this helps someone!

My End result was EVERYONE lived - except Mordin.
I have no idea why. I never looked at any guides or anything til today.
finished the game a few days after launch. I liked Mordin a lot but still undecided

@tenenzuo Let Mordin take the people back to the ship. (and if everyone is loyal to you) then take Tali with you to fight the Reaper. That is how I got the achievement. (When I sent Mordin away with the crew he was replaced by Tali for dying at the end.)

Actually you can choose anyone for the tech mission. According to the official walkthrough book the survival of the character you choose is based on if they are loyal to you. I would have got this achevement but somewhere along the way Mordin went and got his head blown off, though I have no understanding how since he was loyal to me and he didn't have any important roles.

@blackcatxana after acquiring the reaper IFF the number of side quests you do 'other' than legion's loyalty increases the chance of someone dying. Also, even after you've done everything 'perfect' there's still a chance someone will die, usually mordin. Also; I had Garrus leading the second squad, Legion as my tech expert, jack as the biotic specialist, and jacob escorting the crew survivors. Rescued Kelly chambers as well.

@DJBayview Nope. Doing one side mission will kill Kelly, two will kill her and half the crew, any more will kill everyone except Chakwas. Also, if you do everything right, there is no chance that anyone will die; if some people who hold the line aren't loyal, then the game's calculations may lead to one or more deaths, and Mordin is front of the line for that. There's no probability here: you can precisely calculate the end outcome from your choices and the loyalties of your crew.

@blackcatxana No, you can't. Only tech specialists count—anyone else will die, loyal or not, and even a loyal tech specialist will die with the wrong team leader. Every special role requires the right person for the job, and their loyalty.

@blackcatxana For the Squad Leaders you need a loyal Garrus, Jacob or Miranda. Unloyal or anyone else WILL cause the Tech Expert to die. Tech Experts are Kasumi, Legion, and Tali. Anyone else WILL DIE. Send ANY Loyal Member back to help Chakwas survive, unloyal = death. The good biotics are Jack or Samara/Morinth. The others will get the first person you select in that squad killed. Leaving behind heavy armor like Garrus, Zaeed and Grunt will protect lower ones like Tali & Mordin.

@blackcatxana Mordin is STG, not an mechanical engineer. Tali, Legion and Kasumi are experts in Tech. Jacob, Garrus and Miranada are your Leaders for part 1 and 2. Mordin & Tali have the LOWEST defense/sheilds, send them back to Normandy with Chakwas. Have Samara/Morinth or Jack defend your team. During the final fight, Leave Zaeed, Grunt & Garrus (all heavy armor/sheilds) to defend the low defense people like Samara and Mordin and Tali. Take Thane & Miranda to warp armor.

@liljagsa Nope. I corrected the problem by sending him with the crew, and I took Tali with me to fight the reaper. The first time I sent him with the crew Tali ended up dying and for some reason taking her with me to fight the reaper fixed the problem and all my crew members survived.

Mordin is the only character that doesnt matter if he is loyal or not, if you leave him in the final battle then he might die. The only way to secure his saftey is to either have him take the crew back to the Normandy or have him in your final party.

I got it on first try. Wasn't too hard for me. Just make sure you have all ship upgrades. Because people can die on the ship even if they are loyal if you don't have those upgrades.
