Something is funny in this vidéo: the first notes on piano ( untill 0:30 ) is the song " mon Légionnaire " and then she sings this very special song " non, je ne regrette rien " which Edith Piaf dedicated to the French Foreign Legion. After the missed putch on 21/22/23 april 1961 ( Le putch d'Alger ) during their reddition, the para troups were singing this song. That's why in our days, this song is allways very popular in the French Foreign Legion.

Both are truly amazing - Marion Cotillard as Piaf who looked & moved so eerily like the Sparrow. The one thing she couldn't do was Piaf's one-and-only of its kind voice. So the voice you hear is actually Edith Piaf's for the adult years & another for Piaf's early ones. Together they made this movie probably one of the greatest tributes to Edith Piaf ever.
