Christ, finally a goddamn no commentary playthrough. In a game where the narration is the primary comedy, I do not wish to have some dumbass either talking over or inbetween the narrator. And yet every jackass under the sun thinks i'd rather listen to them talk over everything. Except you. So thank you.
@Racecarlock You're welcome. I wish people would put their commentary on a different audio track and upload a video with AND without their reactions and ramblings.
@Zlandael Yeah me too. By the way, there is one ending you missed. Take the elevator up when you get to it. And don't stop playing when it "kills" you.
"He had never put an end...." is "The inevitable end, toward which he had spent so long stumbling" at 13:03. I hope i helped correct the captioning of Stanley's Chronicles.
@xXDeanBeanXx I found out that this was version 1.0 which DIDN'T include the song. Version 1.2 and on contains 'My Way', which can be found from doing the 'true' ending.
most people dont get this this mod is a game about games themselves, most games tell you what to feel, and most games have predictible facts about certain entities or things, but this game gives you the choice, and thats when the narrator indicates that something is wrong, this shows what should be nextgen gaming, where all the entities thoughts and opinions are generated from the randomly generated atitudes and other social statistics, and that mixed with randomly generated, open-world gameplay
@Zlandael very, very true, this somewhat has to do with a novel I'm writing to it's called "Crossroads, dividing between happiness, and war" It has to do with if your willing enough or not to start a false war just to get a taste of something that truly isn't real, or, if you keep content with the consequences of changing the same amount through protest of certain mannerisms that have given you this new standpoint on life. It involves a man beleiving in another reality, which his mind made up...
@kilsya1 ....made up due to the fact of him not handling the fact the things have changed reality so drastically, but eventually the same event he predicted in the alternate reality ends up crossing over into his, or so he thinks, he actually caused this event becauase of his outrageous acts he does to get people to beleive him. Which in turn causes a cult to arise that follows his every move, and feeds energy off his every true and false wit.
watching this lean, insane stuff.

@Racecarlock That's in part two - although it doesn't have complete captions. It's in the related videos.
Zlandael 5 months ago
@Zlandael Actually, it isn't. I watched all of part two, and the "Elevator up" ending wasn't anywhere in it.

@Racecarlock I'm still amazed that the elevator buttons were separate.

It should be "unlike any he had ever known before" not "unlike any he had know before"

@soolshock "Any Other Name" by Thomas Newman

Where it says "Leading Row" it should say "Leading Role" at 8:38
And where it says "All he found, was a light" it should say "All he felt, was a delight" at 8:55.
Great upload.

I believe it's "soul rending," not "so horrending."
chevanc 7 months ago
@chevanc Thanks for the suggestion, it was a tie between "so horrending" and "sore rending" but yours is accurate.

@kilsya1 aka games today are bland colors of streamers, thick lines that do not cross to create knots and become wondrous pieces of string art!
or games today are just too, too, streamlined and straightforward.

@kilsya1 Interesting...so is it similar to 'Fight Club', in a way?

@Zlandael almost... in the way that the man made this reality up and follows it to his fate.
